It seems difficult today to imagine a time when the name Liv Tyler (1977-) could be met with a lack of recognition. Yet scarcely a decade ago, it would have been difficult for anyone to have anticipated the sheer scale of her meteoric rise to worldwide fame in the film world. As we will see over the course of this book, Liv Tyler's acting career has been remarkably diverse, encompassing a wide variety of different genres - prominent roles in seventeen films throughout the course of just over ten years.
