This is the best live CD that I have ever heard. I knew it would be great, but it was even better than I had hoped. Lillian Axe is the coolest band ever! Ron's live vocals were flawless. The music was perfection. Steve Blaze rules as a guitar player, song writer, and true poet! I could go on forever!

An absolutely great live recording of one of the "hidden gems" of 80's metal. As "live" albums go, this is an excellent recording as the production and sound quality are great. The band's playing is tight and the songs sound as good as ever.

I've always felt Lillian Axe's songs had an anthemic feel to them and that comes across here. Stevie Blaze's guitar playing is as strong as ever and he drives the band throughout. Ron Taylor's vocals are simply put - awesome. He delivers on every level, from the ballads to the powerhouse anthems.

Song highlights include:

Disc 1; Misery Loves Company, All's Fair In Love + War, Deepfreeze, Pullin' The Rats Out, Ghost Of Winter and Fool's Paradise.

Disc 2; Crucified, Nobody Knows, Show A Little Love, Those Who Prey, Dream Of A Lifetime and True Believer.

The album has songs from each of the band's studio albums, so you get a sample throughout their career. As a longtime fan of the band I would suggest getting them all, but this is an excellent addition.

WOW! I'm so glad to see these guys touring again and putting this out. The set list is great...the only tunes missing would be their cover versions of 'My Number' and 'No Matter What' but those were let off for royalty reasons I think. The sound and production for this album is awesome...I'm not usually a big fan of live albums, but this one truly makes you feel like you're there. They play and sound great and the songs bring back great memories. I've been following the band since their first album in '88 when I was around 15 years old. Pretty much most of my faves are represented here. Also, the cd booklet is very kewl and folds out revealing thank you's from each band member and tons of live photos and shots with fans, family, etc. From what I understand, very little was 'fixed up' on this album and the crowd noise is untouched which is cool. It also has good stereo separation....you can distinguish Steve's leads on the left side from the rhythm guitar, etc. Ron Taylor's voice is still pretty good after all these years...he's just older and looks a lot different! Steve (or Stevie as we all remember him) still SHREDS like there's no tomorrow! Darren on bass is great and the 2 new guys sound great also and seem to fit well with the band. There's also word about a new studio album coming which would be phenominal. Everyone keeps saying how these guys should have made it huge a long time ago and there's a reason for that...THEY REALLY SHOULD HAVE!! They're so underrated and it's a injustice that we have such ... on the airwaves today and a band like Lillian Axe never got it's due. Bottom line is: if you've ever been a fan or still follow the band to this day like I do then BUY THIS TODAY! It's a great document of highlights off every Axe album and shows how talented and killer this band is. Long live the AXE!

This album, from start to finish, is a testament to why this band has stayed in rotation on my CD player. These guys are the real thing. Killer hooks, unbelievable lyrics, phenomenal guitar work. It's all here.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC CD. I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF LILLIAN AXE EVER SINCE THEY APPEARED ON THE ROCK SCENE SO MANY YEARS AGO. I NEVER COULD FIGURE OUT WHY THEY NEVER GOT THE RECOGNITION THEY TRULY DESERVED. THEY WERE AND STILL ARE A SUPERIOR ROCK BAND COMPARED TO A LOT OF STUFF OUT THERE TODAY. EVEN OTHER BANDS KNOW THIS. I NEVER SAW THEM LIVE, BUT THIS CD MAKES UP FOR IT. FOR FANS OUT THERE YOU CAN'T MISS WITH THIS ONE AND THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM, HERE'S A CHANCE TO LISTEN TO A BAND THAT WAS TRULY ABOVE THE REST BUT NEVER HAD THE SPOTLIGHT TO REALLY SHINE.
