True love never dies...if you don't let it.
After a failed suicide attempt, widower Keith Lansing is finally getting his life back on track thanks to Live Again, a support group of men who have suffered losses similar to his own. But when the tragedy of the group's newest member flattens them all, Keith finds himself back on a downward spiral.
Until he meets Simas.
This strange man offers Keith the opportunity of a lifetime-a way to call misdeal on the hand fate so cruelly dealt him-in the form of a simple question.
What if he could bring his wife back with no strings attached?
Keith jumps at the deal. Who wouldn't? But, while bringing back his wife held no repercussions, keeping her here may be another story all together. Because she didn't return alone...
What would you do to bring back your loved one? What would you give? Keith finds out as he is given a chance to see his wife again. Little does he know that in order to bring her back he has to give something in return.
Live Again by Giles moves at a brisk pace taking you though life, death and everything in between. No one thinks about the complications that might rise if you bring someone back, well mostly. The questions that they will ask you, they may only remember falling asleep, what has happened since then? How do you fill them in on what has happened since they left life and took residence in the ground? Next, what do you tell your neighbors, who are bound to notice something is a little off. What about your insurance, hopefully you haven't cashed that check.
Keith finds out that there is more to bringing back his wife than he ever imagined. His neighbors were there to support him when she passed, everyone knows he is a widower. Keith has built his new life on this and all of it turns upside down when he gives into the strongest longing one can have when a stranger gives him a `gift' of words that are said to bring her back to him. Well, maybe Keith didn't listen to his mother about not talking to strangers.
After great confusion, grief, and happiness to have his wife back he realizes that he has to leave the area, too many people know that she is supposed to be dead. So off they trot to a cabin in the hills to create a new life together till the one year anniversary of her coming back to life sneaks up on then and reveals its ugly face. Simas come back to discuss business and a payment is due.

I really enjoyed the characters, very well-developed and easy to relate to. The writing is smooth and gripping making it a great mistake if you wish to start this later in the evening, you will be very tired in the morning.
