larry elgart shows masterful taste. the arrangements are superb,and his alto sax is brilliant. this album shows that big bands are alive and well in the 90's. the big band ensemble playing is at its best. it is exciting happy music. Encore, Encore!

After listening to this CD you begin to understand what real swing music is all about.From the haunting "Harlem Nocturne" to the sexy Satin Doll, you realize there is a master at work.The sophisticated, yet mellow sounds of Larry Elgart`s alto sax just keep getting better and better!
