You know a friend of mine recommended this CD to me when it first came out. I didn't even know it was out yet because I was going to buy the CD that came out before this one. So I thought it was a good idea to check it out, especially of what he said about it. I have to say when I first listened to this CD, I thought yes the praise is good on Disc One which I listened to in my car. Then I thought to wait until I got home to listen to disc two, because I heard that it was all worship. I am glad that I waited because I would've had to pull my car over. I listened to this song in my apartment and tears started coming down, I got a breakthrough in the middle of the CD and just entered into the presence of God. I don't know what it is that God is doing with Israel, but its awesome for Him to use him like this and it makes those of us who listen to the lyrics of the worship, move into a deeper relationship with God or get back into our relationship with the Lord. I praise God for this ministry of song.

I can not express how this CD keeps me on my feet. The first CD gives you the praise portion. It keeps you dancing. The transition into the second CD, which is the worship portion...is just awesome. The songs that had me pouring out to God are "Here I am to Worship" and "Breakthrough"....WHEWW!! As I listened to the lyrics, all I could think about was.."Lord, this is what I want to say to you. This is what I need to let you know. I am crying out to you!!" It is awesome.

This CD is worth every penny. I pray that it blesses your soul as it has blessed mine ;-)

If you don't have this yet you are missing out! I can't put into words how awesome this cd actually is. The 1st disc will have you jumping around the room. From song #1 to the last track it is tight. The music is 2nd to none, and the songs will bare witness to your soul. The 2nd disc Israel slows it down, and just opens up in worship and praise. This cd shouldn't be recommended, it should be doctor prescribed...Medicine for your soul!

What can I say that hasn't been said already? Israel Houghton ministry is, to me, the most anointed out there. Right now he is at the level that Fred Hammond was from "The Inner Court" right up to "Purpose By Design". Every album this ministry drops are worshipful, filled with anointed, lacking any kind of computerized gimmicks (sorry Tonex), and just straight up gospel. As much as I love Tonex, I would prefer going to a concert featuring Israel & New Breed, because you can guarantee that REAL WORSHIP is going to take place and take over the building. The Lord's presence WILL be felt. That's how it was when he came to Canada a few months back. I left feeling spiritually rejuvenated, and very seldom does a concert have that kind of effect on my life.

This album is all that and a bag o' chips man. EVERY song on this album is worthy of the repeat button, especially my special favourite jam "You've Made Me Glad". On the second CD, slower songs dominate this set, whereas the 1st CD are all praise jams except for the last track/medley. My favourite tracks on the 2nd CD are a tie between "Friend Of God" and "Friend", but like I said, every track on this LP is repeatable, just like their last effort, "Real". I just hope Israel stays doing what he does best, worship. I pray that he doesn't fall into the trend of having secular artists/producers write, sing, and/or produce songs on his LP's because the last thing I want to hear is Brian McKnight or somebody from the secular side singing about "We Win". If you don't have their last three albums (Israel had a solo album out by himself before New Season for those who didn't know), you need to pick them up NOW, with this one of course! Your CD collection is not complete without Israel & New Breed!

Embracing the concept of "New Season," Israel & New Breed's 3rd cd is phenomenal!!! It is spontaneous worship at its finest! The first song sets the album off nicely when Israel bellows out, "This is what it's all about. We're going to another level." The song "Come In From The Outside" is produced very well with its staggering vocal arrangements and heavy Latin-driven punchlines. Immediately following "...Outside" comes the 1st single, "Again, I Say Rejoice." This is the definitive rhythm & praise song that gives you the high-energy eerily similar to "You Are Good" from "New Season." As the 'higher' side continues, songs like "We Win," "I Hear The Sound," "All Around," and "So Easy To Love You" (featuring Bishop Joseph Garlington) all give the listener a reason to lift up a shout to God. The 'deeper' side is more of the worshiper's sentimental language. "Friend of God," "Friend Medley," "Rise Within Us," "Another Breakthrough," & "Lord of the Breakthrough" are all beautifully arranged worship songs that titillate and spark anyone's interest. What really attracts me to this album is the depth that it took to unify all races and creeds through Israel's timeless cross-generational style. His ability to fuse R&B, Funk, Pop, Reggae, Latin, Shock Rock, & roots into this project is unparallel. Moreover, his ministry concept is powerful, especially when he inspires the crowd on "Another Breakthrough" & "Lord of The Breakthrough" declaring war against the 'glass ceiling.' Once again, his band including musical director & keyboardist Aaron Lindsey, co-keyboardist Jerry Harris, organist Jermaine Smith, bassist Terrance Palmer, the Mo' Horns team, (they are popular) acoustic & electric guitarist Juan 'Natural' Najera, (plays for Usher & Kim Burrell also) percussionists Chris Coleman & Javier Solis and the New Breed singers all put their flair and graceful touch on this project. This is an instant classic and I WILL get the DVD. This album is a must-have for all ages!

Israel Houghton has upped the ante for modern praise and worship with "Live From Another Level." He has written and arranged some astounding pieces of music, and surrounded himself with an incredibly talented group of individuals to help him usher the people at this concert into a place of wonder and awe at the feet of God.

The arrangement of "Here I Am to Worship" is worth the price of admission alone, but thankfully the rest of the two discs are just as good.

Israel's biracial background and New Breed's multicultural makeup are creating an incredible hybrid of gospel and modern praise and worship music, and they have truly created a classic album with "Live From Another Level."

THIS CD IS OFF THE CHAIN. I WENT TO ONE OF HIS CONCERT AND BOY WAS HE OFF THE CHAIN. SOON THE CONCERT WAS OVER I WENT AND BOUGHT HIS CD. THIS CD IS JUST AS GOOD AS HIS CONCERT WAS. THIS CD IS A MUST HAVE. MY MOM AND I CANT STOP LISTENING TO THIS CD. THIS HAS LOTS OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP SONGS AND IT IS JUST OFF THE CHAIN. EVERYBODY NEED TO HAVE THIS CD. YOU WILL LOVE IT. ALL OF THE SONGS ARE OFF THE CHAIN AND IT IS FILL WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. ISREAL AND NEW BREED DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND I CANT WAIT FOR THEIR NEW CD

I truly thank Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus for using Israel & New Breed for producing this CD. I am one who "Loves" to worship Christ and worship is not just limited to Praise and Worship. Worship is first, "loving the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul," secondly, sharing the Gospel of Christ Jesus with others who do not know Him in the pardon of their sins, obeying His commandments and intimatly "knowing God." When I buy/shop for music, I look for music that can usher me into the presence of God. I start my day out each morning in prayer and sometimes I am not quite up yet, but when I put on CD #2 I go straight to "Rise Within Us Holy Spirit." Let me just say there is a special anointing on that song. You will love both CDs. I highly recommend purchasing it because it "Will" take you to another level of worship.

Being a fan of Israel after his first album, I must say that I was extremely disappointed with his sophomore project. It gave me nothing and failed to live up to the first album. Well...guess who's back?! Israel and New Breed put it down! I mean they really did it with this album. It's a two Cd set with uptempo tunes on the first and the slow tunes on the second Cd. I listen to both equally as much. It must have been an awesome experience to witness the recording of this anointed project. The first track starts us off on the thrill ride with "Come In From the Outside". With horns blazing, bass rumbling, and cymbals crashing this song will prime you for what's to come. Of course, everyone has probably heard "Rejoice". "You've Made Glad" is a nice groove that ends with flourish of rock that had me acting a fool in the car! No doubt. They primarily did alot of rock, latin, and reggae on the first CD. "All Around" is a song that saturated with reggae flavor. They did a lot of experimenting with different styles. In the first song they pull some music from India, which was done very nicely. My wife even complimented them on it. I like the second CD better than I like the first with songs like "Friend", "Rise Within Us", "Another Breakthrough", etc. I would buy this album with Fred Hammond's and you'll alternate between the two for a while. You'll just want to soak all of it in. I think this album is definitely better than past efforts from Israel and New Breed. They've set the bar pretty high for themselves. If you've seen Fred Hammond's DVD (POL 3), then you'll know what to expect when you purchase this album. Expect that and more. The band is smoking. The drummers and bass players will be real happy. There's quite a few tricks to steal. This album is worth every penny.

I didn't realize until the CD arrived that it was a two-disc purchase. But I think it is a wonderful CD, very uplifting and continues to draw me closer to God. Brings me Joy and tears everytime I listen.
