I was at a friend's house on New Year's Eve and he played this DVD. We danced to Raphael's music and had a really wonderful time. I'm originally from Detroit and he had a definite Motown flavor. It was like going back in time, while still incorporating a more updated sound. I highly recommend Raphael Saadiq. I think his success and the way he presents himself also makes him an incredible role model for young people. I am ordering both the DVD and one of his CDs. I think he's FABULOUS!

Never seen this artist perform in person but I did see a televised concert performace by him and thought it was very impressive. So I decided to look into any video releases by him to add to my music library. I was not disapointed.

Just like the cd if you are RAPHAEL SAADIQ FAN you will love this concert.

The first time I heard of Raphael Saadiq was when I was sick on a cruise, I watched a video of him and thought wow I have to look up this persons cd on the internet I have got to see if he has any cd's . I bought one and then when I saw that he had this video I decided to get it and am not sorry at all me and my husband enjoy watching and listening to it.

This DVD is great from beginning to the end, Raphael Saadiq is very talented. I enjoyed this DVD very much. Shanda

It wasn't what i expected but it was still entertaining. I'm a fan so it was very cool seeing him and rockin' to his music.

If you have "The Way I See It," you'll love this! This is essentially a concert featuring the songs from that CD along with a few other classis from Toni Tony Tone and Lucy Pearl.

Raphael has a great backup band who are as fun to watch as they are to hear. The female lead vocalist who takes Joss Stone's place on "Just One Kiss" has the talent and charisma to be a star on her own.

The only complaint that I had with "The Way I See It" was that the most of the songs were too short (thought I understand that this was to replicate the 1960s 3 minute song limit as this CD was a tribute to that era). That is rectified here as Raphael and co. rocks out on jam-worthy tunes such as the Sly Stonish "Staying in Love."

Overall, Raphael and the band clearly had fun doing this and the crowd's joy is infectious. Bring your friends over and have a party with this.
