A Great Collection, November 19, 2009

This is a great collection of their material - including songs from their earlier recordings (Two Magicians, Royal Forester) as well as newer songs (eg: Ned Ludd, The Three Sisters, Seagull), all recorded live over a six year period.
Maddy's voice is a fine as ever, as is the wonderful instrumentation led by Peter Knight's fiddle and Ken Nichol's guitar work and vocals - not to slight the solid bass (Rick Kemp) and percussion (Liam Genocky).
It's a great package consisting of two CD's and a bonus DVD.
One word of caution: The DVD in my copy (ordered directly from Park in England) is in PAL format which may not play correcly on all domestic DVD players. Check you player's documentation before ordering or verify that the domestic version of the DVD is in the American NTSC format.
