To me, Ladytron live sounds better than Ladytron recorded in the studio. I own the first two Ladytron albums, a few MP3 songs from Velocifero, and now the Live at the London Astoria album, and the live album is hands down my favorite to listen to. It's got nearly 80 minutes of music on it, and Helen Marnie is in great voice. Great album. If you love Ladytron you'll love it.

I like this concert because the version of some songs like International Dateline, Runaway, True Mathematics, Season of Illusions are amazing, I think they are better than the studio version. I recommend this album.

Ladytron is a rare electronic band that can pull off quality live versions that have the same energy as any live rock show should have. This album does them justice.
I was a little reluctant to buy a live album, having listened to a lot of bootleg and poor quality video online of their tour material. My fears were unjustified. This album is very cleanly produced and really sounds great. If you're someone who has their whole collection and want to hear raw and energetic (but completely listenable) versions of their songs, or if you're someone who wants a good sample of songs from their first four albums, this is worth the money. I would have liked to see Cease2exist or even Cracked LCD on this album, but otherwise the song selection is pretty solid. (Even the underappreciated Burning Up is on here, which is my personal fave... Thanks Ladytron!)
