As best as Marsh can be!! With NHOP and his friend Konitz!! It is so good! Listen to the Lester Young hype! That should be a classic!, BTW it is since you can listen to it here!!

This is one of at least 6 recordings made from this tour. I haven't heard any of the others but this is outstanding, far better than, for example, the legendary 1956 Konitz with Marsh cd. The rhythm section is as outstanding as the sax players with Orsted Pedersen standing out in what must have been among his finest achievements in his long but sadly recently shortened career.
