It's always great to hear Willie sing his classics, 'cause he never really sings them the same way twice!

And that's how it was in this great concert from Austin. Willie changed up his vocals enough so everything sounded fresh and new.

As always, his guitar playing was admirable.

The concert is a little short, with a running time of just 59 minutes. But hey, I could listen to Willie sing all night long!
Despite my Wille Greed, and wanting the concert to last a little longer, this was a terrific way to hear a lot of old favorites from Willie.

There are 17 songs on the DVD including:
Whiskey River
Stay a Little Longer
Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain
Bloody Mary Morning
Etc., Etc.

It's a keeper that will make any Willie Nelson fan happy.

Features expanded instrumental fills and dialogue with the audience . Totally Willie it rocks .

This dvd captures a classic performance from one of the all time greats. You can tell Willie is realy relaxed and enjoy's playing his hometown of Austin.

This is outstanding from beginning to end period!!!! This concert was recorded/filmed September 6, 1990. You get 17 great songs, including classics such as: "Whiskey River", "Good-Hearted Woman", Medley of "Funny-Crazy-Night Life", "If You've Got the Money Honey", "Me & Bobby McGee", "Loving Her was Easier", "Bloody Mary Morning", "Blue Eyes Cring in the Rain", "On the Road Again", "Always on my mind" and others.
He has a great 9 piece band, including his sister on the piano. This is a true classic, and a "must-have" for any Willie Nelson fan period!!!!

Anyone who is a fan of Willie Nelson will enjoy a video of any of his performances and most of his interviews. The less-than-one-hour format of Austin City Limits requires a faster tempo to evey song he sings and plays. That's a downer for BLUE EYES CRYING IN THE RAIN, but he puts some beautiful wear on his beat-up old acoustic guitar when he plays some fast-strumming songs near the end.

This was a good purchase.

The performance was good, and was basicly most of the standards that Willie always sings. I felt he way just going through the show without a lot of effort, feeling or enjoyment. Not his best preformance.
