It's been years since I've put in my VHS copy of this show and I had forgotten how good it is. This DVD is a treasure, not only to see Hutchence and company at the top of their game, but of course just to see Hutchence and be reminded of his charisma and stage presence. It is with admiration and sadness that I watch him take control of the Wembly crowd and perform every song like it was his last performance. What electricity, honesty, ... what a spark he had. Not that the rest of the chaps, especially Jon, don't seem to be having just as good a time. It really is the band in historic form. From "Original Sin" to "I Send a Message" to "Suicide Blonde," it's just about the perfect time capsule for the band (although I happen to think Welcome To Wherever You Are is one of music's great underrated masterpieces and would love a DVD from that era). I swear, when the Wembly crowd takes the vocals from Hutchence on "Mystify" in glorious DTS 5.1 sound I want to sing along. I would have loved an enhanced 16X9 widescreen picture, but how small a quibble is that? I haven't had a chance to go through the bonus features, but they're plentiful. Until INXS release a comprehensive and remastered DVD compilation of their video clips, this will do just fine.

There are not many concert DVD's that can make you feel like you're actually there but this is one of them!!! Even if you don't like this band it is must have DVD just to experience the energy and charisma that was captured at Wembley on July 13th,1991. This performance is simply astounding by a band that was at it's peak during this time and they deliver probably one of the best rock band performances on this DVD. The crowd does not stop rocking throughout and it simply just puts you there with them. I can not say enough good things about this DVD. The fact that everyone I have had over to watch this performance is BLOWN AWAY is enough said. BUY IT......you won't be sorry!

NEVER! I cannot believe this INXS concert masterpiece is out of production already. I am looking for it on DVD because my five-year-old VHS tape is beginning to show its age. EVERYONE I have shown this concert tape to has raved about how good it is.Sound quality and visual editing are excellent, and "Live Baby Live" showcases one of the world's greatest bands in their prime. Michael Hutchence is at his best and if anything, this concert video/DVD should be re-released in honor of his tragic and untimely death.

This has to be one of the top 10 live performances on DVD anywhere.

Captured at their peak in Wembley, INXS showed why they were one of the hottest bands in the world. Before boy bands would take over en masse, INXS held the world in thrall with frontman Michael Hutchence and the band's unique blend of pop, rock and funk.

You can feel the stadium rock when INXS goes into Disappear - and you can feel the lighters sway in Never Tear Us Apart. In other words, this DVD experience is as good as being there. Truly one of those magical nights where the cameras managed to catch it all. Hutchence is in top form.

I saw the band a few years before on the rise as a lean hungry band in college, and a few years after this performance - this is absolutely the band at its peak. 2 albums later Hutchence had hit rock bottom.

Worth getting, and with the companion live CD - which has tracks that aren't on the DVD and vice-versa.

The first time I ever heard of INXS, I was watching "Friday Night Videos" somewhere around 1982. They performed "The One Thing" live and slayed me. I remember dancing like an idiot in high school to The Swing. Years later, I saw INXS in Salt Lake on the Listen Like Thieves tour. I managed to slip up onto the mixing scaffold and sit right under the board for almost the entire show. Perfect view, perfect sound. I was amazed at how good this band was live. Later I'd learn that it was just a testament to how much they toured, and how devoted they were to the fans. I saw them again (20 years later - sheez) at the Greek Theater in Berkeley with JD Fortune, and was again amazed at how well they sound in person. I've seen this concert video a number of times over the years, but finally got around to purchasing it a couple of weeks ago. I've stayed up late to watch it, after the wife and kids go to sleep, several times now. They were definitely "on" for this show. Michael's vocal quality was superb, and each member of the band appeared to be at their peak. The camera direction and editing make it feel like you are there, and the English fans are out of this world. I've never seen a sea of people in motion the way these folks were. No wonder the band was popping. Everyone was just feeding off of each other. This video will stand the test of time. It's like watching old Doors footage when Jim was in his prime. I don't think I'll ever tire from seeing it.

I have become a major INXS fan since I bought this DVD. I've known of them for years, since they first hit it big in the states back in '86 with 'What You Need'. But this is a sparkling, great concert performance captured on film back in '91, and just shows what a profound loss the death of Michael Hutchence was to rock music. He was such a charismatic, gifted performer. His bandmates in the group were all on their game, as they steamroll their way through hit after hit. INXS was finishing up a world tour at the time, and they were note-perfect each and every song. The camera and sound work was top-notch, and you really get the feel of the crowd's excitement during the show. What a great show that night. Just get this DVD, slip it in, and enjoy!

I won't be using a lot of space to make sentences look good, but as a fan of a good live show, all I can say is ... Michael was one of the best performers I've ever seen. He can easily be next to the legendary performers like Freddie Mercury, Bono, Mick Jagger, Dave Gahan ...

As a long time fan of INXS, I had never seen their live concert from 1991 which has been out on video for quite a few years. I finally decided to get the DVD, it is as good as advertised by all the preceding reviews. What better concert to film than the biggest and best show INXS ever did. It is great! They play over 20 songs, all the hits are included plus other songs from their Kick and X CDs. My personal favorite is "Wildlife", one of my favorites from the Kick CD, it sounds awesome live! Each of the band members seems to be having a great time and it is obvious that they enjoy what they are doing, you can't wipe the smiles off their faces. Plus MH was at the top of his game that night too, his singing was top notch!

In addition to the concert there are other features, band interviews, photo gallery, a behind the scenes look on concert day leading up to the show, plus a band commentary on the concert itself which is really a hoot.

All in all if you are a fan of INXS or of concert DVD's in general be sure to snatch this one up. I recently saw INXS in concert and they still sound great live, glad I finally got the opportunity to witness that myself. But this is the band at their best, don't pass this up.

If you are a INXS fan - you must own this DVD. They were amazing live and DVD does them justice. It's amazing!

I am so glad that this wonderful concert was taped and preserved for all INXS fans to enjoy over and over again!
I have watched it several times, and find the performances to be absolutely riveting.
Every song sounds fantastic, as the band performs before an adoring British audience at Wembley Stadium. The only song missing is "Don't Change", and I can forgive them that, since the others are outstanding.
If you are a fan of INXS, you will love this DVD!
