I recently purchased this CD after seeing it on another website after seeing it on another website. It's a great CD and I recommend it to everyone that I know. I am originally from Baltimore and have been living in Alabama for the past three years and it is nice to see someone from my hometown make it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Everythang and Then Some, December 1, 2004
This review is from: Live in Baltimore 'Everything you Are' (Audio CD)
I have met and worked under this exceptional Man of God, Jonathan Nelson, at Empowerment Temple in Baltimore,MD. This CD is a blessing! Each track contains a powerful praise and tesitimony for this day in age. I know he is one of God's Annoited and expect big things from him. If you haven't heard, "Healed", which Donald Lawerence now has on his latest cd, then get both! "Up, Up, and Away" will forever be redefined on a new level. (Sorry Superman, rest in peace!) I can't tell you how good this cd is, you have to listen for yourself. Once you hear it, you will be blessed by it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST HAVE!!!!, March 17, 2004
This review is from: Live in Baltimore 'Everything you Are' (Audio CD)
I do not purchase CDs often, however, this was well worth the money. I love every moment of this CD. One of my favorite tracks is #8, MANIFEST, which has exceptionally talented vocals and annointed musicians. Whenever I need to be strengthened, I play this song. The entire project is phenomenal. It deserves a spot at the Dove Awards. Congratulations to all who participated for producing such an awesome product. You have definitely been "MANIFESTed".

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!, December 19, 2003

Okay....my Pastor had been pushing me to get this cd ever since it came out. My church sings, "Everything You Are"--and the first time that I heard the song...I cried so that I could not stand in the Presence of the Lord! Let me say that this cd is OFF THE HOOK!!!!!!! From the Lyrics....especially the Lyrics! And "Purpose"..WOW!!!!....Those are some SANGIN' FOLK!!!!!! The musicians are off the hook as well!!!!!! There are so many songs that I like on there that it is hard for me to choose my favorite one...the only one that I do not like as well as the others--but it is a good song-is, "Right Place"...maybe if it was later in the cd!!!! But, Mo' Horns (I saw them at the Family Affair II recording in Feb 2002 @ Radio City Music Hall..Hezekiah Walker & Love Fellowship Choir) Them brutha's are anointed and never cease to amaze me!!!!!! Well, if I HAD to choose a favorite one it would be, "Change will come"---not just because of the awesome praise break at the end (Praise Unplugged--I would have loved to had been there for that one) but the Words are anointed...but every song that, "Eld David Frazier"--(who also writes for Hezekiah Walker) Is anointed!!! Jonathan Nelson & Purpose--is an anointed group, with their own "East Coast" (no one else does it better..LOL!) sound....I really like this cd because it doesn't sound like anyone else's music!!!!!!! Jonathan Nelson & Purpose, kind of put me in the mind of a modern day Thomas Whitfield & Company---they have that mantle! Okay I've talked enough...BUY THIS CD!!! IT WILL BLESS YOU REAL GOOD!
Peace!
LOL!

I really enjoy this album a lot. They have a great sound and you can actually understand everything they say!! That's a plus. Mr. Nelson is a very talented writer, I'm Healed is a great song but my favorite on the whole album gotz to be "EVERYDAY" it's a got that neo soul groove to it. So tight. Makes me keep it on repeat. Can't wait to hear more from Purpose and Jonathan Nelson!

Time after time this CD has been a blessing to me! Every song has its good and perfect place on this project! When I get to "Everything You Are," all I can do is cry because I know that everything I need, I find it in Jesus Christ. If Jason never sung another song in his life, he SUNG THAT ONE!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gospel in Baltimore, November 3, 2003
This review is from: Live in Baltimore 'Everything you Are' (Audio CD)
For fans of Gospel, this is a must-have album. Jonathan Nelson has collected a group of young and talented new voices to praise God with song. The results are uplifting as well as entertaining. Talent scouts should listen to Tai Jones on track number 10, "Speak to Me" and hear how clear and pure a voice an be. For sheer hand-clapping, foot-stomping joy, do yourself a favor and buy this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get It Now!!!!, July 16, 2005
This review is from: Live in Baltimore 'Everything you Are' (Audio CD)
My friend from D.C. put me on to Jonathan Nelson, and I can't stop playing it. I'll put other stuff in the CD changer, but Jonathan Nelson stays put. From beginning to end, I'm blessed. The first time I heard Manifest, I fell down crying because the words of that song reached me deeply. "I am what God designed me to be!!!" If you don't have this CD, please get it. Get it now...get it 5 minutes ago. GET IT!!!!!

Jonathan Nelson has shocked the socks off the folks here in Baltimore. We all knew that he was a talented musician and gifted at praise and worship. What we didn't know was that he had been elevated to a new place!!!!!!!!!! Jonathan took simple words and turned them into art with these songs. We know from this project that the brother has spent some time in the presence of the Lord. The title song from this project is something that we can all relate to and Jonathan and his twin brother Jason do an awesome job helping us to understand that Jesus really is EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! This CD is a must have for everybody's home collection. You will be blessed!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Praise Of A Lifetime, March 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Live in Baltimore 'Everything you Are' (Audio CD)
This cd is off da chain. I have enjoyed every song on the cd. I am so proud of Jonathan Nelson and Purpose. You all deserve a score of 100 for this cd. I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan Nelson at the homecomeing gospel concert for NC A&T State University. The concert was exciting from begining to end. We did get our praise on. God has his hands on every song that was recorded. The musicians were extremely good. You all played under the annointing of God. I loved every leader on the cd. And that Praise Unplugged session was the bomb. I love dance music like that. It will make you forget about anything that is bothering you and just dance your way into victory. The only thing I wished Jonathan had done was to make a DVD of this service. I would have loved to have seen the entire worship service. It would have made me feel as though I was there. If it is not too late, please make a dvd of this service. I almost forgot. Jason Nelson is also the bomb. I love to here him sing and play the guitar. The Nelson Brothers are so talented. I have already purchased 3 copies of this cd. I play it so much til I need more copies. If there is anyone out there that has not purchased this cd, please do so and support the ministry of Jonathan Nelson and Purpose. I love you.
