I went to this concert on the night they recorded this and it was FANTASTIC.Jesse is such a great live singer. It's nice to hear this on a cd without the glare of all the screaming haha. It's definitley worth buying and you should see Jesse life if you get a chance. He delivers a great performance.

I'm a huge Jesse McCartney fan, and im a guy. He is very talented, and if you buy this album you will see that. I went to see Jesse's Beautiful Soul Tour on August 16th 2005, in Denver colorado, and iw as lucky enough to find him after the concert and get his autograph. He is very talented, and Jesse if you happen to read this, i just wanted to say you rock! anyway. The show begins with "Without You" my favorite Live performance on the CD. It is better then the Studio version, mainly because the band rocks, and Jesse's voice is amazing. He quickly moves through "That Was Then" and then "Because You Live" witch is also one of the best performances on this disc. "Good Life" and "She's No You" are good, and so is "The Best Day Of My Life" witch was a bonus track from his debut "Beautiful Soul" Then he heads into 2 slow songs, witch by far show of his best vocals. "Take Your Sweet Time" is a great performance, he brings a girl up on stage and sings to her. "Why Don't You Kiss Her" is an amazing performance. His voice is very strong on it, and he hits all the notes. "What's Your Name" and "The Stupid Things" are exceptinol performances. The last two tracks "Beautiful Soul" and "Get Your Shine On" are amazing, although Jesse does seem to sound tired, he still puts on a great show.
This Album is pretty much amazing, but i would suggest picking up his "Beautiful Soul" album before getting this. 5 out of 5 stars!

This CD is awesome! If you are a huge fan of Jesse's, like I am, you should get this CD. If you are hearing about him for the first time or only know a few of his songs, I suggest you get his Beautiful Soul CD instead. The Live CD is only missing "Come to Me" and "Why is Love So Hard to Find?" from his solo album. However, it includes "The Best Day of My Life" which is not on the Beautiful Soul CD. This CD even includes parts of the concert where he picks a girl to go on stage, introduces his band mates, and says his thank-yous and good byes to his fans. I like this CD because I love Jesse's music. His band sounds really awesome Live. I like the sound of the music better on this CD than on his original one. Best of all, Jesse really can sing! I know because I actually went to this concert where the CD was recorded! So, if you went to his concert at Paramount's Great America in Santa Clara, California, you're just as lucky as I am! My favorite songs that he sings are "Because You Live", "The Best Day of My Life", and "Beautiful Soul." My least favorite song from his solo album is probably "The Stupid Things." However, his vocals are really good when he performed it Live, and I like it more now. Overall, this is a great CD and I would highly recommend it. Jesse also has a DVD of this same concert, which I think is even better. Congratulations Jesse, on a job well done! =)

This is the best live album ever made. Never have I ever heard a live album that sounds better than the studio album. Every song on this cd is better than the album versions.

Reviewing each song is pointless since they are the same ones from the album (only a lot better, especially "Without U"), but there is two songs that aren't on the debut album;

Good Life-10/10. Different and interesting, Jesse proves that he can sing in more than one style.
The Best Day Of My Life-10/10. A little short, but still pretty good.

Each song from "Beautiful Soul" that is here is ten times better than the album versions, and the album versions are excellent. Get this live album; it's the best one you will ever have.

This is a very good cd. It includes almost every track from Beautiful Soul, not including "Come to Me" and "Why is Love so Hard to Find" Two bonus tracks live, "Good Life" and "Best day of my life" The quality of the cd is very very good for being recorded live. I was shocked at it. This cd is very worth it, but i would have prefered to have the missed tracks on here also. It's almost an hour (53 minutes). Make sure to get this if you have his first cd. He also extended some of the songs to 7 minutes which is nice. It's well worth your money. I'm looking forward to more music by Jesse.

This c.d. is sooooo cool. Here r the tracks:
1. Without U - 3/5 this is his opening to all of his shows. it's when he first comes out and all the girls are screaming the loudest.
2. That Was Then - 2/5 it's really fast and he seems out of breath
3. Because You Live - 5/5 this song is one of my favs. it's almost as good on this c.d. as it is on the orignal one.
4. Good Life - 1/5 it's one of his songs that he sounds like he just ran around the block and started singing
5. She's No You - 4/5 awesome song!!!!
6. Best Day of My Life - 3/5 this song was on "A Cinderella Story" sountrack and it's not on his beautiful soul cd.
7. Take Your Sweet Time - 4/5 he calls up a girl from the audience to sing to so it's really cool
8. Why Don't You Kiss Her? - 5/5 he nails the song and it sounds really cool with just the guitar in the backround
9. What's Your Name - 3/5 another 1 that sounds like he's out of breath
10. The Stupid Things - based on his singing 4/5 based on the song 1/5. he sounds awesome but i hate the song
11. Beautiful Soul - 100/5 this song is the best and my fav!!
12. Get Your Shine On - 4/5 good song. at his concerts he always dances while singing this song. my props to him 4 doin that

This CD remind me the day that Jesse was in Puerto Rico and I wrote an article about him about the show and the interview that I have with him. He has a great voice and talent. I think Jesse is one of the most young singers with real talent. This CD reflect his talent.

Reviewing this album for my daughter I have to say it was good. I am not sure why she would want a live version of an album she already owns, but I purchased it for her anyway. Mr. McCartney has some talent and sounds very close to his album live. I always enjoy an act that sounds the same live. Most of my favorite bands are my favorite because of this quality. Not sure where this young man will end up, but he has some talet in the POP genre and could do well if he stays on track. Talented and most importantly for Dad, a "safe" album for my daughter.

The guy can sing!! You can tell he gives people what they want by the sound of roaring fans screaming!! Plus he has a great voice live, it sounds just like his cd voice. You know he's really singing. This cd is great for all you jesse fans don't think on it for a minute JUST BUY IT!!
