Worth a Look / No Need for Apologies, September 7, 2005
This review is from: How to Live the Bible Like a King's Kid (Power Books) (Paperback)
I bought this book when it first came out, and shortly after seeing the author in person. It is a typical Harold Hill book, filled with anecdotal material of his experiences with healing, prayer, witnessing, etc. It's a slim tome, easy to read, and may be helpful and interesting to Christians leaning to the "charismatic" side of the spectrum. This book does NOT contain the Joshua/"Missing Day" urban legend as championed by the all-knowing sages at snopes.com and scores of other websites - that material is in Hill's "How to Live Like a King's Kid". I have noticed that part of Hill's story, as it appears in the latter, is often quoted at these sites, but OMIT his acknowledgement of the controversy it generated. As I recall, it was an anecdote he heard while working as a contractor, or sub-contractor, for NASA. I add that Hill has been deceased since 1987 and cannot defend his side of the story. So I suggest that Mr. Noren follow through on his pledge and remove his comments and hope that he will stick to REVIEWS of books he has actually read, instead of ranting on his soapbox.

A Must Read for any Christian, February 3, 2002
This review is from: How to Live the Bible Like a King's Kid (Power Books) (Paperback)
I was amazed at this book. I guarantee it to set any Christian on fire for God. I was in a low point in my walk and it was just what I needed. I borrowed this book from a friend, then purchased it and re-read it. I have passed it to every Christian I know and am still getting calls for their friends wanting to read it. It is truely an inspiring book. It is a very easy read book. Is wonderful for the newby and for the mature Christian walk alike. Definately one I would never part with.
