I would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank you" to Katie Brazelton and her publisher for sending me a copy of "Live Big! 10 Life Coaching Tips for Living Large, Passionate Dreams" to review for them. I have always been grateful for this generosity, and I am trying to improve at being consistent in taking the time to thank these wonderfully giving individuals in a public forum. I really appreciate your time, effort and expense in making a reviewer copy available to me.

A couple of years ago, I really enjoyed, and was challenged by, the life-changing experience of working through Katie Brazelton's book "Character Makeover" (co-authored by Shelley Leith). So, when I learned of the opportunity to preview her latest book, I jumped on it! "Live Big! 10 Life Coaching Tips for Living Large, Passionate Dreams" is a terrific, motivating read that will inspire the reader to set goals and pursue lifelong passions and Christlike living. This book almost seems too tiny to deliver what it promises on the cover. In fact, the cover is almost too small to hold the entire title. But Brazelton packs 10 critical chapters of guidance that are Biblically sound into a travel-sized volume that is the perfect length for the average person who wants to live this way, but doesn't have the time to read a more extensive book.

This book is the perfect size. The thoughts are valuable and fairly complete. If the reader wants or needs more of a given topic than this book provides, it would seem to be the perfect opportunity to study what else the Bible has to say about it. The book can be read in order chronologically or by order of importance to the reader. In fact, when I scanned through the table of contents, my eye caught sight of a chapter on forgiveness, so I jumped right to it. "Live Big!" gave me some serious food for thought. It also pushed me to the Word of God to seek deeper meaning and direction.

The first eight chapters tell the stories of people who are living in such a way as to display the character of Christ. The final two chapters offer a challenge to Live Big! and make an impact on the world around you for Christ.

Once again, Dr. Katie Brazelton has given us a sense of renewed purpose and direction for our lives. This book is full of thought provoking "real life" stories, that challenge us to reach our full potential. I recommend this book for everyone who desires to dream and live big!
