The best way to understand "Red Dirt" music is to experience it live. There's no way to describe the energy that comes off a stage when the band's cookin'! And you better believe that Jason Boland and the Stragglers are flat burning it down at Billy Bob's! "Proud Souls" has got to be one of the best songs ever written and JB & the boys have hit the definitive version here. Get this CD...throw it on the stereo...break out a cold one and your cowboy hat...and prepare to hear the show of your life !

If you love Jason Boland & the Stragglers, then this is a must have for y'all. I just recently saw Jason live for the first time at a Pat Green concert during spring break and let me tell y'all I'm hooked. He's awesome. He's a great singer/songwriter. I really love all the songs. My all time favorite has to be "When I'm stoned." He rocks that song live! This is a great cd and I recommend it to everyone out there that likes Tx. music!

The cd Jason Bolan and the Stragglers was excellent! However I was not happy with the shipment and one of the 3 cds' cases was cracked. The shipment was very slow in arriving. Cannot see taking two weeks to receive a shipment of cds. Freight prices increased and service decreased!
