5.0 out of 5 stars Jon Regen does it again!
Many will remember Regen for his distinctive work with Ted Dunbar and Kyle Eastwood, but few will forget him after hearing this amazing CD! With infectious, hard-swinging playing and writing, 'Jon Regen Trio - Live at the Blue Note,' is destined for this year's Top Ten Jazz Release Lists! A+ in ever way!

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent cd: *this* is jazz, February 3, 2000

Jon Regen does Kenny Barron proud. this is a great cd by an emerging artist, full of original compositions and some standards and great artistry. intriguing mix of styles and energy. a great rhythm section, with Ray Drummond on bass and Yoron Israel on drums, and a special appearance by saxophonist Joel Frahm.
