Great guitarist in a live setting!!,

WOW!!! This guy is so underrated. Here is Tony in a live setting playing (and singing) his heart out on a mixed bag of covers and great originals at a Pittsburgh club. This is also one of the best live recordings I've heard! Tony plays rock/blues, but he sneaks some jazz sax lines in there and his playing is much more advanced than many of this ilk. He should be much better known. Vocally, he is as good as almost anybody out there also. I really don't see how anyone who loves great guitar wouldn't love this recording. Go buy it now, you can thank me later!

Tony sounds amazing as usual. The sound on this CD is of amazing quality considering that it is a live CD. The band sounds great and Tony's guitar playing and vocals gives the CD a sweet sound. "Hey Joe" rocks as good as when Hendrix did it, with a little style from Tony. "Wish You Didn't Have To Go" is my favorite track on the CD. It is an amazing guitar ballad. It is filled with power and beauty. It stirs emotions, a thing that many songs don't do anymore. I recomend this CD to anyone. You can hear a guitarist that has worked hard with the talent that God blessed Him with, and it shows on this CD.

This CD from Tony Janflone, Jr. is excellence personified. The guitar, vocals, supporting players, song writing, covers, and sound are all top notch. Few guitar slingers can match Janflone's combination of techical ability, passion, and voice (unlike many other guitar greats, Janflone is also a very fine singer). And for an added bonus, the live sound is incredibly good. This one is a must own.
