Hearing Moe sing the song Bandy the Rodeo Clown is country music at its best. His style and voice and the band lend together to a great blend and exciting listening. He will always be a classic country singer with a great sounds.

I have traveled much of the highways and byways of this nation. One time when I was chasing the sun into the horizon of the desert southwest, I heard a disappearing radio station playing 'Rodeo Romeo'. I instantly fell in love with the song, but lost the station before I had a chance to find out the singer. For years I have been trying to track down the performer. Thanks to your wonderful website, with the ability to play song snippets, I was able to find the song. The album reminds me of the long nights on the lonesome Interstate. I can't praise this enough, because sadly you are limited by five stars. This album warrants one star for every star that sparkle in the deep purple of the desert sky.

No place embodies the American heartland as well as Branson Missouri, and Moe Band is the perfect representative to sing these songs that typify country music's personality. The selection constitutes a good cross-section of All-American values. From the festive "Americana"-a quintessential Branson song if ever there was one-to the classics like "Rodeo Romeo" and "Till I'm Too Old to Die Young," these tunes bounce along to a red, white, and blue beat.

"Many Mansions," released in the late eighties when country music was being hijacked by money-grubbing outside promoters, received far less airplay than it deserved. Rich in Biblical-imagery, this tale of a homeless man with an inner peace can take its place among the finest gospel and country songs ever written. "Americana" which was always a pleasant listen, takes on a new timeliness and poignancy as the Clinton years end, and a new spirit of American allegiance and decency comes in with George W. Bush.

Two of the disc's highlights are tunes with which I was unfamiliar. "The Horse That You Can't Ride" is a haunting caveat that actions do have consequences. And "My Wish for You" is an encouraging parental love song that superbly expresses a father's dream for his child.

Every time I play this CD, I get a desire to return to Branson where Moe Bandy and so many other talented performers celebrate the best of America on a daily basis. Hopefully, a new day is dawning across the country where such patriotic wholesomeness becomes widespread.

We just got back from seeing his show in Branson. If you ever get a chance to see his show you will not regret it. He was the only performer we saw that took the time to greet everyone in person after the show. He's a class act!
