Enjoy Lauging?, April 10, 2002
This review is from: Live at Carnegie Hall (Audio CD)
This was the first comedy cd that I have ever purchased, and boy did I get my money's worth with this one! Ray Ramano has the audience in hysterics for over an hour with his dry wit and humor that has made him a household name, with his show, "Everybody Loves Raymond." He speaks of his past experiences with the relationships with his wife, family, and children--all in clean humor, as well. After hearing this cd, this will make you want to hear him live. Do yourself a favor--if you need a good laugh, check this album out.

Bought this cd for the hell of it., November 12, 2001
This review is from: Live at Carnegie Hall (Audio CD)
I bought this cd, a few days ago just for the hell of it. This cd is very funny, and if you like clean humor then this would be a good cd to pick up. This cd is mostly about his family, but there is one track about him getting a certain test when he turned 40-very funny. If you like humor with swears better, be sure to pick up Eddie Murphy's Greatest Comedy Hits.

I am a high school senior, and at first, I honestly didn't expect to find Ray Romano funny. But then a few weeks ago I was bored and flipped to Everybody Loves Raymond. That was probably the smartest thing I've ever done. The show is hilarious and I know I can't really relate to it, but it's funny just the same. Then I decided to read my first book in years - Everything and a Kite, and loved it. I recently started reading it again, just for kicks. And to top it all off, I got Ray's cd Live at Carnegie Hall for Christmas and yes, even though the material is basically the same as the book, (there are still quite a few surprises left in the book though) it's so much better when he's performing it...his trademark nasally voice adds so much to his stories. I didn't have any problems with the volume of him and the audience though, the sound is perfect on my cd. Anyway to sum it all up, if you get a chance, pick up this cd - it's the funniest thing you'll ever hear.
