Yes, recorded in 1992-January 24 & 25 to be exact. Both original guitarists Andy Powell and Ted Turner perform their usual high quality harmony leads. Drummer Ray Weston was in the band from 1991-1994 and returned in 1998 to the present time. Andy Pyle was in the band 1986-1987 then from 1991-1994. I actually found this CD in an over stocked store along with Live in Geneva with another fine line-up headed by the perrenial Andy Powell. Any chance to see them live, as they are continuously touring, should be immediately seized upon. I just saw them 2 months ago. 71 minutes and 20 seconds of pure musicianship

This is one of the best live concerts this band has ever produced. Another would be 'Hot Ash', which is still unavailable on cd. Every track is great and the band is in perfect sync throughout. Check out 'Strange Affair', brilliant.

How good is this album? I picked it up several months ago on a whim, and more or less unheard. I have not stopped playing it yet, and I can't really see that happening any time soon! It is a great document of the early 90's incarnation of this great band and sees a good combination of all time classics and a little more recent (as of then) tracks. There have been a great many live releases from Wishbone over the years. They are clearly under pressure to play standards like "The King Will Come", "Throw Down the Sword" etc every time they play, but regardless of the number of versions of those particular songs I have heard, the renditions on this album still sound fresh and exciting to my ear. This release sees the ever present Any Powell again teamed with Ted Turner and that sweet dual guitar sound is as good on this as it was on the original "Live Dates" back in the 70's. In conclusion, do yourself a big favour and listen to this album.

If you are are a fan or are just looking for something new and really great -- this CD is it. Wishbone Ash are just awesome and deserve to be on everyone's 'A' list!

Live in Chicago is really one of the finest live rock albums and I have been listening to it constantly since I got it a a few days back.This has some excellent renditions of classics like BLOWIN FREE,STRANGE AFFAIR,STANDING IN THE RAIN and my personal favourite THROW DOWN THE SWORD.Very highly recommended.

This live album is surly the best I've ever heart.The harmony of the guitars and the power of this band will turn you into a wishbone fan !!!

Wonderfully performed songs with great sound quality on this CD. However, it was recorded in Jan, 1992.

Je pense que c'est le meilleur live de Wishbone Ash qu'il me soit jamais été donné d'écouter. Un CD dont on ne peut faire exception, si les guitares de Wishbone Ash signifient quelquechose.

So what are we expecting here - histrionic excess? Well not exactly. This perfunctory live album in front of an appreciative and probably respectably aged crowd pulls out a bunch of faves. Though recorded in '92 much of this record harks back to a time 20 years prior. The King Will Come, Throw Down the Sword and Blowin' Free all from 1972's Argus album all sound sparkling here. Beefed up a touch these are truly timeless peices of rock 'n' roll.

Ash fans should loo at the track listing before buying. After all it depends on what era of Ash floats your boat. And it is only one disc when their gig must of gone much longer. With only eleven tracks the value isn't high and your not getting any insight into this mob and so the casual fan can probably miss this one without feeling terribly deprived. Then again it could be a decent intro to this gentle rock 'n' roll institute.

Two or three stars depending on your mood.
