5.0 out of 5 stars Great live show!
"The Come Together Tour" is Third Day's second live DVD release, following "The Offerings Experience." Once again, the band delivers an excellent performance from Mac Powell's vocals to the guitar tandem of Mark Lee & Brad Avery to the kickin' rhythm section consisting of bassist Tai Anderson & drummer David Carr. Some great musical highlights...

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than the first but still not where MWS is
as a huge 3rd Day fan i was so excited about the new DVD. needless to say, i was a little disappointed. the quality is better than their first dvd, but it still lacked the feel of a secular dvd. i wished that 3rd day had put subtitles on the dvd so that i could use the video portion for kids that are hearing impaired. also, i would liked to have seen an option to remove...

Some great musical highlights include the opening song, "Get On," "Show Me Your Glory," "God of Wonders," Consuming Fire," "Nothing Compares" & an excellent cover of Rich Mullins' "Creed." I also love the medley featuring "Give" & "Your Love Oh Lord" with a couple of choruses of the hymn "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" and a fragment of U2's "With Or Without You" ("And You give Yourself away..."). "The Come Together Tour" is a great concert DVD, and this disc and "The Offerings Experience" DVD really complement each other very well. My recommendation is to buy both DVD's and watch them back-to-back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Is He Your "Consuming Fire"?, July 11, 2005

Another "Stellar Performance" from Third Day! Not too many bands can perform Live and sound just as good, if not better than the recorded versions. You will see Third Day more than exceeded excellence on this DVD.

Third Day is truly an awesome God Loving and Worshiping Band that has injected Christ in all they do and are an inspiration to not just the youth of today but for the adults of this generation as well.

God makes no mistakes, and these talented men were placed together for a reason to help share and inspire others to follow Christ. To seek Him not only for their own salvation, but help to bring others to Him as well through their music. They are the most talented & respected rock-band in Christian music today.

Third Day Rocks! while serving and giving All Honor, Glory and Praise to our almighty GOD with a CONSUMING FIRE & PASSION that can obviously never be extinguished. With this DVD you will be inspired to Love the Lord and serve Him with the same PASSION AND DESIRE that will ultimately become a CONSUMING FIRE in you as it has in me. Thank you Third Day for all you do for the Lord.

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than the first but still not where MWS is, May 29, 2003
By A Customer
as a huge 3rd Day fan i was so excited about the new DVD. needless to say, i was a little disappointed. the quality is better than their first dvd, but it still lacked the feel of a secular dvd. i wished that 3rd day had put subtitles on the dvd so that i could use the video portion for kids that are hearing impaired. also, i would liked to have seen an option to remove the commentary that is scattered throughout the dvd. i was looking for more of the concert feel and really got tired of the cut between songs to talk about the album. why not give me the option of that if i want it, but do not ruin the worship experience. also, i would have liked to see more footage of the concert. for the perfect Christian concer dvd, i will still hold on to my MWS Worship dvd, it is truly like being there!!! but for the biggest 3rd day fans, this dvd will do for now, i just wish that we could have a full blown concert/worship dvd from these guys!! (hint)

5.0 out of 5 stars Third Day Live in Concert "the come together tour", September 10, 2008
This is a first class band and a first class concert dvd. This is Southern Christian Rock at its best! Third Day is from Atlanta, this concert was filmed before a packed crowd in Fort Myers, Florida. You get 3 guitar players, 1 bass player, and a drummer (plus a keyboardist on some of the songs). The Atmosphere is great, the backdrop contains a desert mountain that goes to a star-lit nignt, and at times you get the band's logo. The "Vibe" is great. The theme of the concert is "come together" which means the coming together of all Christian Faiths, and all races to worship GOD. Also, this concert benefits "Habitat for Humanity" not only in the U.S. but Across the world. Some of the highlights I noted included the following songs: "40 days" - this is like a blues numbers with God's help on your side until the blues are gone. A similar song is "When the rain comes". "Comsuming Fire" is one of their classics, its a great worship song. Its about God's comsuming fire burning in his people. I really enjoyed "Creed". It is a song professing the Christian creed - "I beleive in God the Father, that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, Jesus was cruxified died and buried and on the 3rd day he arose, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, and he shall come to judge the quick and the dead." There are excellent interviews with the band members, and there are sceens of the band and others working on houses for Habitat for Humanity. It ends with the song Nothing Compares- nothing compares to knowing Christ, and leaves you with a good feeling. Excellent band! Excellent concert! It is just as good of "Rock" as "Lynyrd Skynyrd" and just as good of "Gospel" as "Bill Gaither".

5.0 out of 5 stars Come Together and "Rock" with Third Day, December 1, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Another awesome Third Day dvd. If anything, this one is better than the Offerings dvd, and it Rocks! With the vocals by Mac Powell and the powerful music provided by Brad Avery, Mark Lee, Tai Anderson, and David Carr...it's almost like "being" there. I really liked watching the dvd with the band's input about the making of the dvd. Truly original in the genre of Christian music dvd's; especially if you're only used to the WOW Hits dvd's.

1.0 out of 5 stars BAD and I don't mean GOOD, November 16, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is not a Worship dvd. If an evening of worship is what you are looking for you won't find it here. The singing is unintelligible and can't be understood. What has this guy got in his mouth - marbles? This is more a documentary of a supposed Christian band's fulfillment of "their big dream" of promoting a tour and how they designed and rehearsed for it. Give me a break. Save that crap for the credits. The sound is awful, stage antics are juvenile and set design "junior". Stay with playing in churches and don't promote yourselves. This is an all-round waste. I'm contacting Amazon for a return of my money. This dvd went into the "recycling" bin pronto. I wouldn't even put in the the church library for anyone to watch. Amateur, juvenile adolescence and garbage. BAD and I don't mean GOOD, W.
