LIVE THE DREAM: The Texas Longhorns' Magical March to the National Championship is an incredible documentary of the team's 2005-2006 perfect season led by Vince Young. The 1-hour DVD, with bonus footage, details every game and takes viewers behind the scenes as the team journeys to the Rose Bowl. With one of the most inspirational closing speeches ever made from Coach Mack Brown, Live the Dream is a must see for any Longhorns' fan or college football enthusiast.

If you're a UT football fan, this DVD is probably worth having as a collected reminder of the team's best season (and best player) in the past 30 years. It's too bad that the quality of the presentation is so poor. The highlights in and of themselves are great, and provide all the stars, but proper context is not always provided. In one instance, in a UT touchdown highlight you can see a referee signalling incomplete--was the call overturned? No mention is made in the voiceover. And while I generally am a fan of Verne Lundquist, this is not his best work. He was so flat at times I was surprised to see his name in the credits.

Worse, the UT stats bonus feature is so riddled with errors it's embarrassing. At one point Limas Sweed is listed as "Linas Sweed."

Too bad: a great season deserved better treatment.

I bought this for my 12 year old Grandson upon his request. He LOVES the DVD! His mother says he watches it all the time.

I think this was the best year for the Texas Longhorns football program since the 1969 season when they also went undefeated. This DVD chronicles all the Longhorn games that culminated with the defeat of USC in their own backyard for the national championship. The main highlights are there and they seem to get it right in what they emphasize. A great season that any college football fan should have at the ready (except for maybe USC fans).

This video is not that good at all. Not what I expected. The person talking was the most boring part of the video.
