THis was my firs introduction to Eloy - several decades ago. I still count this as one of their greatest albums (along with "Silent Cries Mighty Echoes" and "Ocean" - most of which is played live on this album).

Great symphonic progressive rock from a sadly all-too-often overlooked band. I would imagine that this album would appeal to fans of Camel and early 70's Pink Floyd. Jurgen Rosenthal is a superb drummer!

If you are a prog-head and dont have any Eloy, then you are really missing out. If you don't have any Elpoy - this is a great place to start.

This CD is very sound and represents the work of a great live band. The remastered version further qualifies this work. Progressive rock could not go without a work of such quality. Very good!

This is maybe the fifth Eloy that I've heard. 'Live' is from the band's March, 1978 tour at an undetermined location or two. 'Live' turned out to be much better than I had anticipated. Thoroughly enjoyed the stunning eleven-minute opener "Poseidon's Creation", "Incarnation Of Logos", the laid-back "Sun Song", a track off their 1976 'Dawn' lp that I didn't expect "Gliding Into Light And Knowledge", the twenty-one minute epic "Atlantis' Agony At June 5th - 8498, 13 P.M. Gregorian Earthtime". Line-up: Frank Bornemann - guitars & vocals, Klaus-Peter Matziol - bass & vocals, Detlev Schmidtchen - keyboards and Jurgen Rosenthal - drums & percussion. Tunes off this must-own live CD come from Eloy catalog titles such as 'Power And The Passion' ('75), the previously mentioned 'Dawn' ('76) and 'Ocean'. Should do a lot for longtime fans and followers of Yes, post-Syd Barrett Pink Floyd era, Embryo and Nektar.
