3.0 out of 5 stars Spencer Davis Group - 'Live In Europe '73:Living In A Back Street' (Purple Records), February 14, 2006
This review is from: Live in Europe 73: Living in a Back Street (Audio CD)
Thirteen track archive live concert recording of a reunion tour the band had under taken of Europe sometime in 1973. Personally,I never knew about it. Didn't know they ever renuited until later. It's a decent effort. Tunes here I enjoyed the most were "Let's Have A Party", the lively 12-minute "I'm A Man", "Gimme Some Lovin'", "Trouble In Mind" and "Mr.Operator". Line-up: Spencer Davis-guitar&vocals, Eddie Harden-keyboards&vocals, Ray Fenwick-guitar, Charlie McCracken-bass and Pete York-drums. Basically, a return to their trademark blue-eyed rock&soul.
