5.0 out of 5 stars Best CD ever
i decided to write this because i saw a few people saying that this wasnt that great for the Vandals and that soup of the day was a bad song. they're wrong, this is one of the top albums of all time, and soup of the day is an amazing song, anyone who disagrees is a complete idiot. The Vandals are my favorite band but the only two albums that even come close to this one...

1.0 out of 5 stars this cd sucks
at the reccomendation of a friend, i heard this was the best vandals cd...i had heard a song or two on comps, and figured sure....ill just buy it. this cd is the biggest waste of plastic in the world, thier lead singer is like 35, balding, and still sings about silly juvenile things. what a horrible cd. sounds like alternative trying to rock...oooh no.

5.0 out of 5 stars abslolutely hilarious, September 19, 2005

even though I listen to mostly Hiphop i enjoy a good punkrock/metal album once and a while. This album is a grade A classic with song titles like power mustache and live fast diarrhea you know what to expect. I used to listen to all punk rock but got tired of listening to the same four chords from every band and hearing the same trite lyrics about the government gets a little old after a while. The vandals are one of the only bands beside the Bad Brains and Avail that I can stand this and any of the other vandals albums up to hitler bad vandals good are highly recomended.

DEATH (Vernon, B.C. Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Live Fast Diarrhea (Audio CD)
Every song on this album is packed with humor and fun. But this is a punk record, and these punk veterans from Orange County, CA deliver the goods. One of the few Albums I can sit through and listen to the whole thing. If you like more of a poppy punk then pick up their newest two albums, but you should definetly grab this one, it surely won't dissapoint.
P.S. See these guys live no matter what, they're the best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Vandalism at its best, August 7, 2000
This review is from: Live Fast Diarrhea (Audio CD)
Let me just start by saying that I own every Vandals album exept "Fear of A Punk Planet". And of all the albums. "Live Fast, Diahreah" is defineitely the best. Not only that, but "And now we Dance" is probably the best Vandals song ever too. Other great songs are "Let the Bad Times Roll" and the title track. The follow up to this album, "The Quickening" is probably one of the most disapointing albums Ive ever bought. If your gonna listen to punk, do yourself a favor and buy this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a swell album!, February 21, 1999

This album is The Vandals best. Every song on there is good and none of the songs sound the same. Warren Fitzgereld is one of the best guitar players of punk music, also they are one of the best bands live.

Became an instant fan of The Vandals after listening to this CD for the first time. The songs are great and fast paced. Listening to some of these songs on my way to work can really get me pumped up.

1. Let The Bad Times Roll - 9/10 - Good song, but gets repetitive, I find
2. Take It Back - 6/10 - Alright, stupid lyrics though
3. And Now We Dance - 10/10 - Best song on the CD, fast-paced, and clever
4. I Have A Date - 9/10 - Pretty good song, sung by Mutant Boy
5. Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious - 9/10 - A really good cover
6. Power Mustache - 9/10 - Powerful and loud
7. N.I.M.B.Y - 10/10 - My second-favourite, very well written
8. Ape Shall Never Kill Ape - 9/10 - Fun to listen to
9. Live Fast Diarrhea - 8/10 - Brooks Wackerman of Bad Religion does backup vocals
10. Happy Birthday To Me - 10/10 - Awesome song
11. Change My Pants (I Don't Wanna) - 10/10 - Best line of the cd: "Throw yor hands in the air and wave them like you just don't change your pants"
12. Get In Line - 10/10 - Hilarious (Permamacer Sentados Por Favor)
13. Johnny Two Bags - 9/10 - Repetitive, but overall good
14. Kick Me - 8/10 - Cd starts to stink here
15. Soup Of The Day - 5/10 - Terrible song

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff, April 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Live Fast Diarrhea (Audio CD)
First got on board with the Vandals with "Peace Through Vandalism." I hadn't heard anything from them for years, until I caught a snippet of "Live Fast" on the X-files back in the day. I didn't know it was the Vandals until years later when Amazon put together this invaluable music search tool that helped me figure out who it was. This album is F-A-S-T! It's also whitty and the band sounds more capable musically than they did on earlier stuff. Worth the nickle!

4.0 out of 5 stars Why I Haven't given up on punk, January 24, 2007
This review is from: Live Fast Diarrhea (Audio CD)
Lately, my interest in punk has been at its absolute lowest. So much of it is poppy, whiny stuff with no personality. This album, though, keeps entertaining me. First, theres the cover, featuring a drawing of a man shooting at an airplane. Politically incorrect, true to punk's roots. Open it up, what do we find? Ridiculous drawings of things like a punk vomiting, feces, and someone getting run over by a steamroller. Already we see it isn't something to take too seriously. And thats why its so great. There is no shortage of silly humor and unusual topics (G.E Smith as scary neighbor, mustaches representing communism, a reference to Jack Palances push-ups, the list goes on). This music is fun, funny, and chuckle-inducing. Don't take it too seriously. Just enjoy it. And I havent even gotten started on the actual music. These guys can play FAST with great precision. Some of the slower songs toward the end leave a little bit to be desired, but most of the album as a whole is quite brilliant.
