Very good music by Rodrigo and Gabriela!!!!!!
Wasil Siwulich
It is amazing that they are still playing the contents of their two studio albums and yet the music still sounds fresh and vibrant.

I saw Rodrigo y Gabriela during their first American tour and own their first two CDs. I picked this from the three live recordings that are available primarily because it's the most recent. For some reason this CD is mixed so that the audience noise is often louder than the performers. At the beginning of each song you hear applause or semi-rhythmic clapping drowning out the guitars. Several songs stop once or twice before they end. This audience applauds every time the music stops, whether the song is over or not, drowning out the music every time. You sort of get used to it after a while, but it's pretty annoying.

Great album. Tough to compare it to the Live in Dublin/Manchester and Live in Japan. Each is unique in it's own way. My 4 yr old, the ultimate music critic, in the household also approves; It's that good. Problem now is he wants to play acoustic guitar exactly like them. That may be a little difficult to teach.

Gabriela y Rodrigo never cease to amaze. The walk the line between virtuosity and unbelievable showboating...just where they end up is probably in the ear of the beholder, but if you want to blow your mind with some amazing guitar licks, this is where to begin. The old flamenco rhythms are back, but they are not scared to mix in pedal effects, some obvious homages to their beloved heavy metal, and of course, the tunes are hot and fast. I'm pretty sure that there was steam pouring from my speakers during Santo Domingo--and that wah-wah pedal...who would have thought to mix all this into one flaming shot? Studio albums are good, but live is where this duo shines, and this is a great addition to a growing legacy. If you are in the mood for some fantastic neo-latin, neo-flamenco, absolutely cool and almost indescribably blistering guitar, you won't be sorry.

I just listened to this album for the first time and I absolutely love it. If you like acoustic guitar and mad skills, this album is for you. I'm not one for many words, but this is one of the best live albums I have ever heard. I wish I could have been there!

If you are a fan of "crowd involvement", this one is for you. I am a big fan of these two and I am now sticking to the studio recordings or other ones without the backround crowd noise.

I had never heard of Rodrigo y Gabriela before a few days ago. It's amazing the energy and amount of sound that only two people can generate. Their skills are just amazing.

I bought this album, and the Tokyo album, and was totally blown away by both. I can't wait for their next.
