This review is from: Live in Gdansk (5 vinyl) (Vinyl)
If you like the music of Pink Floyd you will love this. This is a beautifully presented package. The art work and booklet are first class. The vinyl is high grade 180gm.There is also a coupon for a free download of the entire thing. However the most important part is the music and I have to say that I have never heard the music of Pink Floyd and David Gilmore sound better. The production values are superb. The sound quality is awesome. It is one ofthe best sounding records I have ever heard.
Buy it you will not be disappointed.

I've been a great Pink Floyd fan for a long time. This concert is almost a Pink Floyd Concert. David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Guy Pratt, Dick Perry, they're all there! Nick Mason isn't a irreplaceable drummer like Keith Moon or John Bonham, and so is Roger Waters (the last one being a major loss in compositions, though). So, if you're a PF fan, you can't miss this. Just the new acoustic arrangement of Shine On You Crazy Diamond should make this worthy. And the packaging is great, making this a nice collectable item.

This is a superb package for the vinyl fan.
The sound is fantastic and for 5 records, less than $20 / each is a steal. The Comfortably Numb is superb, Echoes is awesome. I am a fan of Gilmour's solo stuff so the combination of his original material with Pink Floyd selections makes these some of my most played vinyl. I am using Manley tube gear with Von Schweikert Audio speakers and even at mid dial on my pre-amp, it's like the band is in my living room. Highly recommended for the vinyl collector!

from best buy for 50$. 1 week only sale.
the box is long and sturdy. each cd has its little sleeve. a decent size booklet with some typical photos and tracklisting and producing and mastering credits. a bonus cd of live cuts from other concerts (all european). the dvd and 2cd sounds better than RAH release. On an island in 5.1 is a great experience and a bit better than just the cd. the big treat for me was the glossy photos(1 great one of the late richard wright also), guitar pick, duplication of gdansk ticket, backstage pass, and cool poster.

Milked!,
Well he's done it again! I consider this an extension of the DVD "Remember That Night". The songs are practically the same. However the inclusion of "On An Island" in 5.1 is worth the price of admission! Although it could use more .1 (bass)! I've never seen an artist milk more out of one CD and concert tour. With that said, it is fantastic! If you're a Pink Floyd fan then this is a must have.
When is Roger Waters going to offer a DVD of his latest tour? If it is out there I haven't found it. I truly hope that the Floyd offer the rest of their catalog in DVD 5.1 surround sound. Just imagine how that would sound?
