Henrik Schwarz, someone I previously did not know much about, is apparently amazing! I picked up this album and it blew my mind because it's not only great in every way, but I instantly saw how re-playable this album was going to be. I listen to the in the morning, cleaning up around the house, going to bed... I pump it when my roommates aren't home. It's excellent! So excellent I didn't think twice about picking up his DJ Kicks album, which is not only another incredible mix, but it came with a download of an entire second alternative mix. My first thought was that is was going to be slightly different from the album version but as far as I can tell it's an entire second substantial mix. Like he couldn't decide which one he wanted to use so he went with both.
In short, this is a great album that's never going to get too far from the player. It has a uniform soundscape and BPM throughout although it magically takes you up & down, forward & back from track to track. It's great! If you have any doubts, well, you won't as soon as you hear it! I can't imagine anyone listening to this in the store and not leaving with it.
