You truly feel like you're in the audience at a BTE show, without the annoying drunk girl in front of you.
The band puts on a truly impressive performance with all of their best songs. If you want to see the band at its best, pick up this DVD!

Although it's been years since Better Than Ezra has seen regular radio play and commercial album success, they continue to maintain a fairly large and loyal fan base, in part due to their fantastic live shows. The band exudes sheer talent, giving their audience everything they've learned to love about their albums and more. This DVD easily captures the band's intelligence, energy, and sense of humor, and it is an obvious must have for any BTE fan.

WOW! WOW! WOW! BOO-YAH! I was at this show and I must say, this DVD captures the essence of BTE live much better than I expected. The absolute highlight of the disc for me is "good". I've never heard this played live and the emotion Kevin puts into the song on the DVD is amazing. "extraordinary" is also as beautiful a ballad as one could hope. It reminds me of the old OBSCURA hits of 1998. After watching this DVD I hope BTE comes back to Montevallo, AL even after being almost ran off by my friend's airhorn :-p WE LOVE YOU BTE! Seriously though, pick up this disc and you wont regret it, right up there with David Allen Coe's latest DVD effort!

Great sound, nice camera work. A no-frills DVD, there are a couple of special features that give a little extra entertainment, but the concert is the real reason to buy this disc.

My wife's a hugh BTE fan, so she loves this DVD. I like a few of their songs, but she's the real fan. Bottom line, if you like BTE, buy this DVD.

You will love this. The horns and the spectacular Bill Withers cover make it an even better show. If you own the CD of this show, this one adds Allson Foley, Waxing (first verse, well done), the Bill withers cover, This time of year, and a superb version of beautiful mistake. Get this NOW.


On a side note... The DVD takes place in New Orleans 2004, just a year before the storm. It's almost moving to see Kevin in the mini doc talking about the nice smell of beer and piss from a rooftop. Kinda a nice poke at his home.. He had no idea what 2005 had in store. Im sure they almost miss that smell now..

Excellent BTE concert! One caveat on the DVD, though: is it me, or is there no audio menu to select your desired mode? It defauled to Dolby Pro Logic, and I was not able to choose otherwise. Anyone else?
