4.0 out of 5 stars Saxon legends of NWOBHM!
Saxon should be mentioned in the same catagory as Metallica
and Megadeath and Motorhead and all those bands who brought
heavy metal to the public who never heard it before! they
reinvented it after Sabbath! but they seem to get lost!
They first few albums are classic metal! now the videos
on here are kinda cheesy but hey everybody was doing...

4.0 out of 5 stars Saxon legends of NWOBHM!, October 11, 2011
This review is from: Live Innocence/Video Anthology (DVD)
Saxon should be mentioned in the same catagory as Metallica
and Megadeath and Motorhead and all those bands who brought
heavy metal to the public who never heard it before! they
reinvented it after Sabbath! but they seem to get lost!
They first few albums are classic metal! now the videos
on here are kinda cheesy but hey everybody was doing it
cause it was new and it helped sell records! this is worth
it for the live Innocence tour video! Biff and the boys kick
butt they way metal use to be played! the videos take them or
leave them but I watch them cause MTV sucked and didn't show
them back then! but Saxon deserves to be given credit for
what they did for METAL before metallica which I hate! and
megadeath! they were superior far as I'm concerned!

I mean..I don't see ("Department of Aging" intake people are jerks in Illinois..Just thought I'd say it..)a lot of Saxon videos on the market..They rock..The videos span their career..Problem is is not a lot of "Innocence Is No Excuse" songs..Plenty of sentimental stuff..Love you all..Let's try..Bonewits's Essential Guide to Druidism Isaac Bonewits Druidic stuff..If We're saxons..Or..Ascension Magick: Ritual, Myth & Healing for the New Aeon if you like cool star trek looking book covers..Spiritual Bathing: Healing Rituals and Traditions from Around the World Sarolta doth rock..Yada Yada.."Pray for the Dead"..As..Trouble might say on their mighty The Skull cd..Get the one with the Bonus DVD with shows from Il...
