YES! Brian,the producer,the composer,the musician,the MAN!,has presented us with a live compilation of some of our favorite music.The best thing about this compilation,is the "LIVE STUDIO RECORDING" DVD. For me,it's far better than a concert.The camera puts you in the studio and you get to see the expressions of the musicians as they play the music and also interact to the music and each other as they play.Because they're not playing before an audiance/fans,they don't have to put on a performance/entertain.They simply paly the music and really VIBE off each other.Eric Darius and the band played so funky,they made that whiteboy (TERM-OF-ENDEARMENT)dance.He seemed so free, humble and happy. I caught myself smiling and grinnin throughout the show.I was thouroughly ENTERTAINED by what I viewed.Brian Culbertson is "THE MAN".This compilation is Simply AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!money well spent.I actually bought an adictional copy to share with a distant friend and fan.
It is stated in the liner notes that this project is dedicated to the fans . . .
I thank him for giving something back/expressing his gratitude and appreciation.

This CD/DVD is something I have been wanting for a while. It is essentially a "Greatest Hits" or "Best of" CD (something I have been waiting for for years). What makes this CD special is that he has taken some of our (his fans) favorite songs and created fresh updates to them. In addition to that, the CD is a live studio. If you have Rick Braun's "The Sessions vol.1" you know what to expect from this CD. The DVD gives you a visual of the songs on the CD as well as what he does in preparation for recording the cd. It's a treat to see him jamming with Dave Koz, Eric Darius and Eric Marienthal. Definitely worth purchasing.

If you are a fan of Brian you'll love this set. If your not a fan of Brian's you will be after watching this DVD

I almost missed a classic. I hope to keep this short and to the point, but there is so much to say about BC's latest accomplishment. A long time fan of his music, and having had the opportunity to hear him live in 2005, this is absolutely amazing. Along with Jeff Lorber, Oli Silk, and Brian Simpson, Brian Culbertson influenced me to learn the piano and understand this art form. When you get an understanding of the keys and how to breakdown the complex into the simple, it only makes you smile when you realize what is being presented here. Essentially, you have music being dedicated to you and yours, alone. The decision to make a CD/DVD, live, without the presence of a live audience, is an experience that gives new meaning to the expression, "Music to your ears." The imagination is not needed to appreciate this musical delicacy because your eyes are invited, Live From The Inside.
You will enjoy this.

This DVD/CD package gives you anthor sense seeing the music performed along with the sound. The sound and mix is right on. The Musicians and the songs make this CD a classic. This is what smooth jazz is all about timimg and fusion. Eric Darius and Dave Koz bring solos to die for. You can't miss with this package. Although this is like a best hits CD it's all reconditioned and packaged well.

One of the best products to really get to know what Brian is all about. One really does know alot about him from all the info in all the CD covers, but to see him in all the settings of his life makes his talent even more evident. Brian Culbertson really hit it out of the ballpark with this CD/DVD

I was very happy to find Brian Culbertson's latest album to feature all-time favorites done live. Guest appearances from Dave Koz, Michael Lington and others are a nice surprise, especially when watching them perform on DVD. Some personal favorite tracks: Back In The Day, Hookin' Up, All About You. Overall a great album + DVD.

I bought this CD/DVD for one reason......the song "Get It On" on the DVD is THE MOST brilliant example of musical chemistry between musicians I have ever seen. I have watched it DOZENS of times.....and if you can't get excited watching this song being recorded in the studio...you need to check for a pulse! BUY IT!!

Saw Brian open for Barry Manilow a few times and he and his band are incredible. I was excited to get this recording (haven't watched the film yet--only listened to the CD) and it does not disappoint. Mainly uptempo cuts, virtually instrumental, and packed with energy in every note. As the title implies, this is live from the studio so no audience cheering on the audio CD. Don't skip this one!

If you haven't seen Brian Culbertson live,
buy this CD/DVD. It really captures the enthusiasm and joy that he has for his music. His fellow musicians could headline shows themselves and you can see and feel the passion they have for the music. If you have seen Brian live in concert, buy this CD/DVD. It is intimate and powerful and you'll have that "live" show experience all over again.
