Having grown up in New Jersey, during the heyday of southern rock, Charlie Daniels was a mainstay of my collection. This collection is a good compilation of some of their greatest hits. More importantly this cd shows the patriotism and support that this band has shown throughout the years. To hear the troops whooping and hollering during the performance makes owning this CD totally worthwhile. It brings back lots of great memories.

I have always been a huge fan of Charlie Daniels and his music. This is one well-done CD of a live show in Iraq, and Charlie and his band play their hearts out on this one. The music is great, and to hear the men and women cheering for him is by turns both electric and very moving. There are also a lot of songs here that have the extended rock-and-jazz jams that Charlie and his band have always been famous for. DON'T miss it.

This is a great CD that includes most of the CDB's greatest hits. Also, there is just something special about an artist willing to record a live album on the frontlines of conflict. I'm not sure that any artist has done this before.

You can tell that the entire Charlie Daniels Band enjoyed playing for the troops. Their enthusiasm was outstanding. I'm glad that he decided to make this recording.

After kicking off the show with the Pledge of Allegiance, the Charlie Daniels Band fires up the troops in Iraq with a selection of their greatest hits and a couple of new numbers. You can feel how electric these shows must have been for both the CDB and the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces.

The set list is an essential collection of CDB hits, although, now that Charlie is older and wiser - at 70 - a few lyrics have been changed to some of the older songs that once referenced drug use. The new music includes "Iraq Blues," about the brave Soldiers over there, and "Floreeda Road," an instrumental piece showcasing the talents of each member of the band. Easily ranks up there with the best live albums I've ever heard.
