5.0 out of 5 stars Drink a Couple of Beers, Lay Back, and Listen
Is this the best CD in the world. No. But if you have a couple of beers, lay back and listen not real closely, it can get psychadelic and - it's good. It's average or above average and not too many bands can even say that. It's value is in hearing the current Blue Cheer line up of Dickie Peterson, Paul Whaley, and Duck McDonald performing live. Buy it! Convince the money...

2.0 out of 5 stars Hideous Sound Quality
For a recording released on a fairly well known label, this disaster sounds like a bootleg recorded on a cassette recorder. It's not even in stereo! You can BARELY hear the drums in the background and there is absolutely NO sound separation or balance. Avoid this one like the plague!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sounds Great, just LOUD, July 28, 2009

This is a fine live recording of later-days Blue Cheer. It's WAY above bootleg quality but is a little harsh. Partly this is because the guitar is incredibly jacked up in volume either at the amp or by the mastering process. It sounds like his cabinet speakers are shredding. It's actually totally suitable for this band: one of the loudest bands on Earth. This CD rocks hugely and sounds great....definitely worth a grab.
