I love Eli Young band, so this purchase was a no-brainer.
All the usual suspects are amazing live, and if you've seen them you know what I'm talking about, namely Small Town Kid, I Call the Tune, Level, So Close Now, Highways and Broken Hearts, and I could name a few more, but it's getting redundant.
My favorite is actually the only not-live track, penned by Willie Braun of Reckless Kelly, Lonely All the Time, it's amazing. It opens with a rocking bass solo, and continues solidly. A plaintive, albeit catchy, tune, imploring a woman to just give him a chance.

Definitely a worthwhile pickup! The only thing holding this one back from 5/5 is too much overlap with the band's previous studio release, "Level". That said, it does capture a great moment in time for a band on the move. Eli & Young nail their performances of So Close Now, Everything Is You, and Highways And Broken Hearts. Just those three make this one worth owning.

I already had the other CD's by this band and decided to pick up the only one I didnt have, well, when it arrived and I listened to it, I was blown away, this has become one of my favorite CD's already, it is a great true recording of a live concert, there is no breaks between songs wher other live cd's only put together the best recordings from a bands tour, this is one show and one show only! I hope I get to see The Eli Young Band live soon and I am so happy that they are finally getting some air play so everyone else can enjoy them as much as I do.
Pick up this Cd, you will not be disappointed !!

Love this CD. Had it before, but lost it so I found it on amazon. I've seen EYB live about 3 or 4 times and its a good time.

The Eli Young Band sounds even better live. If you love their other stuff you will love to hear them live it is almost like your there.

This is a great CD. Hopefully these guys keep up the good work!!!
