Review
People ages 5-95 share their discoveries of life and love in another collection of strong adages for daily living. All begin with "I've learned" and include some sage reflections (". . . both a young child and an old person can make me feel young. ") Excellent little nuggets for thought. --

Product Description
Millions of readers kept the paperback version of H. Jackson Brown Jr.'s timely and insightful Live and Learn and Pass It On on the New York Times bestseller list for more than 28 weeks. In that book, kindergarten kids, seventh and eighth graders, high school students, young married couples, and senior citizens all told what life's experiences had taught them.
With the publication of the book, hundreds of others wanted to add what they had learned from loving and winning and loving and losing, from the school of hard knocks, and from the old method of trial and error. The best of those lessons are now collected in Live and Learn and Pass It On, Volume II, including:
- I've learned that a good education is one of the few things that lasts a lifetime. Age 46
- I've learned that funny noises from my car's engine don't go away when I turn up the radio. Age 41
- I've learned that given the right toy, everyone becomes a child. Age 47
- I've learned that a warm chocolate chip cookie can put a whole new perspective on life. Age 20
- I've learned that if you wear dentures, you should never flush the toilet at the same time as you sneeze. Age 75
- I've learned that it's always good to have a dog around when Mom serves Brussels sprouts. Age 18
Editing these entries, says Brown, convinced me that wisdom knows no age. Regardless of how much we know, it is never enough. Or, as a number of people said, I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
