2009 two CD live release from the veteran British Acid Jazz outfit. This album is the first live set from the band in their lengthy 20 year career, and contains all their hits. It was recorded at Indigo2 in London in October 2008, in front of a sell out crowd. At the time you could purchase the CD on the night and it was available at the end of the night to take home. Following extraordinary fan response to the limited edition package, the band have decided to make it commercially available to all. This package presents a new mix done by the band and a tighter edit. 21 tracks.

A fun, fun project, with the live experience and good recording sound. I think sometimes N'Dea was a bit too interactive, but what makes up for that is the amazing backup singers she had, when she wasn't up to hitting some of the high notes on a few of the songs. I love some of the subtle reworks on the melodies and bass lines, as well as drum lines that were presented. Overall, I just love the BNH anyway who can do no wrong musically.

Had just seen the Brand New Heavies in Chicago. This CD captured the concert perfectly, including some additional tracks that weren't performed at the concert I saw. Wonderful stuff!
