Louie wails in London, July 25, 2011

You must be made aware " LOUIE IN LONDON "
1/ This is not a live in concert performance. However...it is probably one of the best examples of Louie's amazing skill on any media next to " Skin Deep " from the Duke Ellington LP " Ellington uptown " 1952. There are alot of drum fills and small solos on this album , as well as an excellent version of " Carnaby Street " that includes a fantastic extended drum solo by Louie.
Many fans will probably agree that Louie's better showcasing is not typically on record or video for that matter.It's rare, and unless you happen to have personally captured treasures from exceptional concert dates.... this version will amaze and deliver to fans and jazz lovers alike.
