This is the audio track lifted off a VHS of Billy's Long Island Concert. So there is no production to it. The sound is a little flat but over all it's pretty good. I think with S&H I paid like [...] bucks so it's well worth that. But the DVD is better.The DVD is transferred from VHS so the video is a little soft but the audio is stronger than the CD.

What makes this CD worth the effort is when it's from. Right at Billy's peak time. Every act should have a live CD/DVD like this. Well shot. Lots of good music. No BS (like interviewing fans or celebrities or celebrity fans) All songs at full length. No cut aways. For the price they are both well worth it.

For all of those who had the old vhs video of Billy Joel's Live From Long Island (recorded on the Nylon Curtain tour), this is the full audio captured on 1 cd. It's the same as the video, no songs cut, although a bit of talking between songs has been omitted probably due to cd time, but all songs are here from the video. Awesome sound too, this should have been a live record from Billy. Anyone on the fence about buying this, if you're looking for the audio of this show, it's here and well worth it!!
