I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Beverly Crawford new CD - it's off the chain!!! "It's About Time For A Miracle" is the bomb! Be forewarned though - if you don't want to praise Him, then don't listen to this song cause you can't help but get your shout on LOL! There are so many wonderful songs on the cd "It's So", "For Who You Are", etc. And I just love the remake of "Marvelous" with Beverly and Shirley Murdock, wow! 'Live fron Los Angeles' was such a big hit for Beverly with "He's Done Enough" and Beverly picks up right where she left off with 'Live from Los Angeles - Vol. 2' by taking us straight to church!! HIghly Recommended and one of the best CDs of the year for sure!!!

Wow!!! What can I say - or rather write - about this awesome project from this awesome Woman of God!The song of the year - "It's About Time for A Miracle" - really need I write more? Really?! I mean look at the youtube videos and playlists and charts!!!!! and tweets and blogs and discussion boards! even her FB page! even a NFL player!!!! This is her strongest song yet and to think this is a re-make from her original 2003 version on the Live Family and Friends album! It was written by her friend, Bishop Sam Butts. Ms. Crawford has gone truly to another level indeed - and it's wonderful to see this, especially after years of ups and downs musically, but she stayed true to herself and is reaping the benefits! Ok, let's discuss the rest of the album: *It's So - written by Tim "Bishop" Brown, who wrote her last mega-hit "He's Done Enough". Crawford struck gold with him once again! This song deserves more radio play *Born Again - not to be confused with the "Born Again" from 1998's Now That I"m Here. This song has a mid-tempo quartet feel to it; it's very catchy and relatively short *For Who You Are - comes with Intro with Beverly exhorting the audience about being thankful to God. Then she sings this song, which she wrote. It's simple yet touching and definitely deserves alot of airplay. There are quite a bit of videos of her singing this on youtube. *Everything Will Be Alright - she joins friend Shirley Murdock and writer Shawn McLemore on this jamming track *Serve You Well (with reprise) - besides "Miracle", this is my favorite song on the album! I like to her use her lower vocal register (she's amazing). Plus, this is one of those songs that have alot of depth, talking about serving God well *Radical Praise - Beverly joins her children Latrina and Todd on this funky track (yes, it's her son Todd jr, not her husband Todd on here. Listeners may remember Todd Jr singing with mom on the last album on "We Need to Hear From You". Even though he doesn't sing long, you can see how his voice matured during the past few years). *I Need A Word - Daughter Latrina comes back (without mom and with introduction from dad) on this song, which she wrote. This song has alot of depth and talks about going to God to hear from Him instead of for material things. Latrina, who also appeared on her mom's last two albums, is an amazing young vocalist AND a talented songwriter. Personally, I would love to see her come out with more songs (leading up to an album...) and collaborate with Kierra Sheard, one of our leading young gospel vocalists today. *Marvelous - yes, this is a remake of the same song Bev did on Bishop TD Jakes' 2001 The Storm is Over, and Bev sounds as good as ever, even though I have a softer spot for the original. Shirley Murdock comes back to join her at the end and it is a good ending to a fantastic album *JDI sampler - not a fan of these, but I'll leave this alone Overall, this is a fantastic follow-up to Live From Los Angeles Volume 1 with a mega-hit "Miracle". Once again, kudos to Bev, Mike Bereal, JDI, Bishop Butts and company. All I've got is - GET READY GET READY GET READY for the Stellars because you all truly deserve them and GET READY for more that God has for you! *PS I would still love to see the DVD!!!!!!!
