I used to live in Stillwater, OK (home of the Wormy Dog), and now that I live in Houston, listening to this CD has made me feel less homesick. The live recording is awesome, as the band sometimes talks between songs, and listening to the crowd sing along with "Boys from Oklahoma" is so much fun. It reminded me of my college nights, hanging out at the Wormy Dog listening to the band. I'm so excited the "Boys from Oklahoma" have done so well for themselves.

Got hooked on Cross Canadian Ragweed last year. I work at Veterinary practice, last year we had a intern Dustin Devine from OSU and a Wormy Dog Veteran. Let me listen to his CCR Cds. What a cool band, never heard of them before and really liked them. I listen too anything from Chris LeDoux, to 80's hard rock, to Blues and Harmonica blues. Mostly older artists, with long careers and CCR's my favorite newer band.
What CCR does on this recording is amazing. Great song selection, (like "Amos Moses", Bang My Head", "The President Song", "Headed South", "Hey Hey My My", Much Better Now", and "Boys From Oklahoma & Everybody Else".), great atmosphere and got the fans into the music. Have listened a bunch of bad records of live music from alot of bands through the years and they could've learned how to do it right from CCR.
Well worth it. Pick this one up along with Carney, Highway 377, Live and Loud at Billy Bob's Texas, Cross Canadian Ragweed and their new release Soul Gravy W/free DVD. Thanks Dustin and someday in my travels will have to visit the Wormy Dog for a Cold Beer.

As an alum of Oklahoma State University and the Wormy Dog Saloon, I can tell you that I enjoyed seeing many live performances from Cross Canadian while in school. This live album is a perfect reproduction of a concert experience. Cross Canadian's genre-gapping music style is known as red dirt music in Oklahoma but all listeners of country or pop are likely to enjoy this great album.
