A great Therion CD, a great value...,

To be honest, this is my first Therion CD. It is a wonderful blend of styles, and the music is very intriguing and powerful. This particular album is a great value, because it is a 2 disc set. Both CDs are excellent and are a great purchase for any metal fan with an open mind. There is not another band quite like Therion, which hails from Norway. They have found a way to keep many types of music fans intrigued with their music. Buy this CD if you can find it in the stores, you won't regret it.

If you consider yourself a metal fan, this must be in your collection. This Cd has the best of Therion (except for the ones of Lemuria/Sirius B, since this cd was released before), going from "Black Rose" to "The Wine of Aluqah"!
This means this cds have from death, doom, black and symphonic Therion in one whole package. Still, most of the tracks are from the symphonic era of the band, so if you're looking for a lot of Therion's doom songs live, this is not the place, since it only has about 4 tracks like that. The production is amazing, and the sound quality isone of the best I've heard in a live concert. In this case, it's a requirement, because in order to aprecciate all the chorus you need great sound quality, and these cds has it. You must not miss this. If you do, you'll regret it.

This is my second Therion CD, my first was Secret Of the Runes. Therion is a very unique metal "band", and this album really captures the full energy of Therion. It is hard to describe the music on this CD, because some songs are slow, melodic, with a blend of classical and power metal vocals. Some other songs have a very Death Metal feeling to them.
The second CD is the best in my opion. Mega Therion starts out with some well composed orchestral music, and then they go into one of the most unique metal songs I've heard. The last song is especially powerful, going all out with power chords and loud and powerful vocals. It sounds like something right out of a Viking war movie. If you are a metal fan, pick up this album, you will not be dissapointed.
