Editorial Reviews

In 1993, Paul Rodgers released the acclaimed blues based album Muddy Water Blues (now available on Eagle Records) with
contributions from many special guest artists with a shared love for the blues. In July 1994 the tour in support of this album rolled
into Montreux. The regular tour band was joined through the evening by a number of special guests to create a typically unique
Montreux festival performance including an amazing finale of Hoochie Coochie Man where all the guests join in. As well as tracks
from the Muddy Water Blues album there are all the classic tracks that you would expect from across Paul Rodgers highly
successful career.
Line-up: Paul Rodgers (vocals, guitar); Neal Schon (Journey) (guitar); Jason Bonham (Foreigner) (drums); Ian Hatton (guitar); John
Smithson (bass). With guest appearances from: Brian May (Queen), Steve Lukather (Toto), Eddie Kirkland, Sherman Robertson,
Luther Allison, Robert Lucas and Kenny Neal. TRACK LISTING

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't Get Enough.... December 4, 2011
By j.

...of this DVD. I just watched this in the stereo format (There is 5.1 too, which I will play soon) and was impressed, not only with the sound, but the set list. The 4:3 video transfer is very good and does not look stretched when my TV is set to wide for the picture.

This 79 minute set occurred in 1994, not long after the tribute to Muddy Waters album, with the blues humming through the air. This DVD is way more than a Paul Rodgers back catalog of favorites (See set list below). There is not just the Free or Bad Company feel to the sound. There is a great compilation of Blues based songs, with band mates that blaze through the set list.

A few stand-outs are Muddy Water Blues and Good Morning Little School Girl, with Brian May on guitar, being just one of the friends. There are many "Friends" on this disc and plenty of guitar solos. We see some Blues Greats sitting in on the last song Hoochie Coochie Man.

The band and friends are Queen guitarist Brian May, drummer Jason Bonham, Steve Lukather from Toto, and Journey guitarist Neal Schon. Guitarist Ian Hatton, bassist John Smithson and such blues performers and players as Eddie Kirkland, Sherman Robertson, Luther Allison, Robert Lucas and Kenny Neal also appear.

Track Listing:
1) Introduction
2) Travelling Man
3) Wishing Well
4) Louisiana Blues
5) Fire And Water
6) Muddy Water Blues
7) Good Morning Little School Girl
8) I'm Ready
9) Little Bit Of Love
10) Mr. Big
11) Feel Like Making Love
12) Let Me Love You Baby
13) The Hunter
14) Can't Get Enough
15) All Right Now
16) Crossroads
17) Hoochie Coochie Man

Highly recommended. Hope this helps. j

Really Paul Rodgers has a privileged voice and it keeps as good as since times of Free and Bad Company, and includes songs from all his career and some blues songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Husband loves it February 21, 2013
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Got this on a whim as a Christmas gift for my husband as a stocking stuffer. He loves it and was impressed I found this without his input. I usually just buy from his wish list because if I don't, I end up with something he already has. Not this time plus it's a winner!
