4.0 out of 5 stars Young Jimmy, March 27, 1999
This review is from: Live in New Orleans (Audio CD)
This album has very little Jimmy Scott on it. Billy Vera (the compiler) was well aware of this (there are only 5 Scott songs), but decided to release it anyway. The other tracks are sax duels, etc. This CD is worth having for Everybody is Somebody's Fool and especially for "The Loneliest House on the Street," which is a torch song if I ever heard one (as in tortured). I give it four stars only because the sound quality is really poor.
