I had a girlfriend in 1988 who first introduced me to this album and it has been on my favorites list ever since (Thank you Mary). You can't find it on I-tunes or hardly anywhere else but
if you can get it you should grab a copy. It is all classic Setzer, rockabilly, rock n' roll. It's fun with a wry sense of humor and even a bit of Setzer's occasional spirituality (Wrapped in rock of course).
Do yourself a favor, stop reading and order this one. It will become a regular on your playlist. Cheers.

It's Brian Setzer, what else do you need to know? No doubt this was another release largley overlooked. We all know Brian Setzer is a legend and that he rocks. This is a brilliant rocker of a CD full of cool riffs and rockabilly tunes. All I can say is if you see a realease by Brian Setzer, just buy it. If you remember Stray Cats and loved the music, then don't hesitate, buy buy buy.

I first got into Brian Setzer like everybody else-- the Stray Cats. Several years later, when he surfaced with his "Guitar Slinger" album, I picked it up on a whim and was blown away. Curious to find out what he had been doing between the Cats and the BSO, I picked up a cassette of "The Knife Feels Like Justice" and fell in love all over again. Recently I got the new release of the CD with the same title and have had it in my player ever since. What a great song writer, performer (I've seen him twice), and (people sometimes forget) guitar player. Being a drummer, I also love Kenny Aronoff on drums on "The Knife..." Brian, when the orchestra-thing cools down (not that I don't love that too), come back to your roots-rock rockabilly fans. We'll be waiting for you, man.
