My God, but Billy is a funny man. Rude, crude, socially unacceptable perhaps, but FUNNY! Many a comic will use real life observations for their humor (we are, after all, the funniest topic!), but from a Scottish point of view...well...that's the beautiful twist! Be prepared: laughter from the first time you listen will be so intense, heart and asthma attacks could ensue, you could drive your car off the road, and mascara will run (hopefully only on women...on men....ouch, you've got issues!)
Keep the kids away from this one, however...he does pull no punches with the language.

I have loved Billy Connelly for many years, he's the one stand-up comedian who can literally make me weep and pee my pants!! The trouble is that Billy is such a visual comedian that he doesn't work as well on a CD. Please America, bring out all the DVDs with a region 1 format!! I have to get them from England.

I have seen better from Billy Connolly on TV, where his physical antics are part of the show. Very difficult for an American listener to understanding what he is saying on this recording, and the humor is slow in coming, with a lot of allusions that escaped me. Apologies to all the fans of Billy out there, but I would give this a pass.
