Friends in Europe turned me on to Alain Clark (no relation). He has a mellow, smooth voice reminiscent of classic Motown crooners. Like Marvin Gaye and Smokey, the man can straight-up sing. Alain's song 'Father and Friend' is a duet with and a smashing tribute to his father. You can find the video online and listen. It alone is worth the price of the CD.

I found out about Alain Clark via an e-mail I received from a music attorney. If not for that, I would have never known about this amazing artist. Alain Clark is a native of Holland and is well known there, having several chart hits. He's on the local Warner Bros. label there, but finding his disc in the U.S. is not easy. I bought the import CD via amazon and as far as I'm concerned, it's the best music I've heard in the states in many a year. While most U.S. pop/R&B artists are singing about sex, deception, crime or violence, Alain sings about his "father and friend" and several other songs that lift the heart and spirit. The songs and musicianship are as good or better than anything out there and Alain's vocal delivery puts him in a class with artists such as Stevie Wonder and Sting. I hope more people find out about Alain Clark. It's what this country needs right now...

In my trip to Italy,I saw Alain Clark on TV.
The song Father and son is the most beautiful and sweet son of the world.
I do know why is not in US market.I gladd I funded in Amazon.
