For years before this quality album Shihad have been rocking audiences in NZ & AU. Ive seen them numerous times (early days in James Caberet in Wgtn or Mountain Rock festivals, later at Big Day Out. And no matter how many times youve seen them, you just never want to pass up the chance to see Shihad live - thats why this album is so good - it captures all of that raw energy that they are so famous for in NZ. They are one of the rare bands that sound 10 times better live than they do on a studio album - undoubtably best kiwi rock album ever.

Brilliant.,

This album shows emphatically why pacifier/shihad should have been one of the biggest bands in the world by now. Covering tracks from their speed metal debut 'Churn' to their somewhat over-produced 2002 self-titled album, it shows a band at the peak of their prowess. This album just edges out Led Zep's "how the west was won" as the best live album I've ever heard.

This is possibly the best rock album ever, because it showcases one of the best and most original rock bands going around at the moment live. I too saw them at the Big Day Out, and also at the Metro in sydney, they absolutely went off. If you ever get the chance to see them live, take it, you will not regret it. Until then, this cd is as close as you'll be able to get to the real thing. A mix of old and new, it's the best rock experience you can have short of going to a Big Day Out. Play it at top volume and sing along.
