For years before this quality album Shihad have been rocking audiences in NZ & AU. Ive seen them numerous times (early days in James Caberet in Wgtn or Mountain Rock festivals, later at Big Day Out. And no matter how many times youve seen them, you just never want to pass up the chance to see Shihad live - thats why this album is so good - it captures all of that raw energy that they are so famous for in NZ. They are one of the rare bands that sound 10 times better live than they do on a studio album - undoubtably best kiwi rock album ever.

This album shows emphatically why pacifier/shihad should have been one of the biggest bands in the world by now. Covering tracks from their speed metal debut 'Churn' to their somewhat over-produced 2002 self-titled album, it shows a band at the peak of their prowess. This album just edges out Led Zep's "how the west was won" as the best live album I've ever heard.

This is possibly the best rock album ever, because it showcases one of the best and most original rock bands going around at the moment live. I too saw them at the Big Day Out, and also at the Metro in sydney, they absolutely went off. If you ever get the chance to see them live, take it, you will not regret it. Until then, this cd is as close as you'll be able to get to the real thing. A mix of old and new, it's the best rock experience you can have short of going to a Big Day Out. Play it at top volume and sing along.

if you want to hear probably the best rock band from the australia/new zealand scene than buy this NOW, if you want to hear one of the tightest and energetic live rock albums in the world... buy this NOW - i saw pacifier for the first time at the big day out this year, i had watched them evolve as Shihad over the years and liked the music, but nothing can prepare you for a Pacifier show... no BS these guys rock and deserve alot more recognition than they get. I also saw the Foo Fighters a few hours after Pacifier, i love dave and the gang, dont get me wrong... but pacifier stole the show... can't wait for them to swing by melbourne again... BUY THIS NOW!! if not then buy ANOTHER PACIFIER ALBUM NOW - you WILL NOT regret it.

This is one awesome album. A great mix of the old (Screwtop, Derail) and the new (Run, Everything) and everything in between. If you've never heard them before then I reckon that this is the place to start. The sound quality is top notch, and the performances rock. As it says on the inside cover - Play Loud!!!
