I've never been to a "Tony" event or read any of his books, but I'd heard about him from friends. One of them loaned me this tape set which I promptly left sitting on a shelf for 2 months. Getting around to listening to tapes isn't something I ordinarily do. It was getting to be a long time that I'd kept it, so I thought I'd listen to at least just a little bit of it before returning it. I was very pleasantly surprised!

This tape set is great! Once I was about 2 or 3 minutes into it, I knew I was going to enjoy the whole thing. Robbins is fascinating to listen to -- clearly a master presenter. But more than that, his approach is an energizing blend of sound NLP principles, compassion, encouragement to try new ways of thinking and experiencing, and uncommon good sense.

Robbins has a way of introducing ideas clearly, giving entertaining examples and stories, and providing thought experiments/exercises you can perform for yourself while you are listening to the tapes.

Now, it's easy to be cynical about this sort of thing, to pooh-pooh it, or to cite loftier goals such as total Buddhistic Enlightenment. But for those who haven't closed the doors on the possibility that there might be something of value in learning how to better use one's own mind, and for whom the next step in their personal progress isn't necessarily the Ultimate Nirvana, there are many ideas and fresh approaches in this tape set that could help a person, as a mere, imperfect human being, to get out of a rut or a stuck place and get life moving in a very positive direction -- as Robbins puts it -- with real passion.

If you begin with an attitude of self-exploration, an open mind, and the willingness to learn, there are some real jewels here.

I have many of the Tony Robbins tapes, because he's an awesome guy that everyone should listen to, but "Live with Passion!" is my favorite. It's also cheap, $20 for this program is a bargain. $50 would be a bargain. If you don't know much about Tony Robbins, this is a great place to start!

I have never failed to be motivated by an AR cd

I disagree with the reviewer that said you only need 1 motivational CD, they are all the same, you just have to take action.

Yes, they are all the same basic principles, but I find personally that I need to hear it regularly to stay motivated and in that certain mindset. The more often you hear this stuff in more different ways (various CD's/speakers) the more you will be ingrained with a self-motivating script.

Yes you do have to take action, but i find that action can be more easily sustained on a fairly regular diet of motivational material. The brain is novelty seeking by nature, and a narrow, though repeated, range of exposure to anything (a single CD) will be habituated and lose effectiveness.

Tony Robbins has the gift of expressing concrete, easy-to-implement ideas that can make a difference in living a more fulfilling, successful life. Since listening to these CDs a few weeks ago, I have found myself spontaneously recalling some of the concepts he shared that have helped me face a challenge I was having at the time. In particular, the concepts of "Build a Relationship Bridge" for having patience with others during times of miscommunication has been very helpful. Also, the importance of carrying around a (properly-tempered) sense of "Certainty" in one's daily life as a pre-condition for success has been extremely useful. Some of his concepts seem self-apparent, but Mr. Robbins' charismatic delivery and excellent communication skills really drive them home.

I refrained from rating the set at 5 stars due to the multiple references to Mr. Robbins' seminars embedded throughout the recordings. However, in the end that was a small (additional) price to pay for the inspiration and extremely useful concepts that Mr. Robbins offers. I recommend this CD set highly.

This CD series is really good. I think it is best to listen to Live with Passion after listening to Get the Edge and Personal Power. It collates a lot of the ideas so it is good to have done some background personal development work. Powerful and useful, Tony Robbins can make a difference in the lives of all those who are open to personal growth, opportunity and self empowerment.

I heard Anthony Robbins from Jay Abraham and Brian Tracy sales training series. Since most of our life struggles and challenges come our ability to deal with the problems that come into our life, I recommend this CD series for those of you who feel depressed, frustrated and uninspired.

The Live With Passion, Anthony Robbins CDs are amazing! After I listened to these CDs, I went ahead and bought $300 worth more of his CDs because what Anthony Robbins really brings back what I have learned in the past from great mentors, like Earl Nightingale, John Cummuta, Brian Tracy, Jay Abraham, Zig Ziglar and so on.

I am extremely excited to be able to listen to Anthony Robbins' wisdom and advice, because it has helped me to take charge of my life.

Must listen CDs!

This CD set is a great tool for making big changes in your life. Tony teaches the listener some fantastic ways to address problems (Chalenges!), end bad habits, and generally lead a more passionate life.

Tony Robbins has a natural gift for inspiring others and this 6-CD set is no exception. Not a rehash of Power or Power II, this set offers the listener (and doer) an opportunity to make a change in life, based on pursuing and implementing specific stratagems and in adopting and nurturing particular mindsets about life.

The only flaw I find is in the packaging - it's a 6-CD plastic "fold-out" box - the construction is surprisingly low quality and sections pop out, making the use of these CDs in this particular box very "challenging". I am surprised that the Robbins corporation would have allowed this inferior packaging. So what type of packaging should have been used? A zippered container with built in soft sleeves of course: And if you need a great example for reference, please check out:
Brian Tracy's SUCCESS MASTERY ACADEMY 16-CD set. Brian Tracy scores a hit with not only the CONTENT of this great set but the awesome packaging! So to all professionals (personal development and otherwise) serious about packaging your audio sets: forget those plastic fold out boxes and pay for a little quality - after all, you're supposed to be worth it, right? And in any event, we certainly are.

Living with Passion is all about what Joseph Campbell said, "Following Your Bliss." When we do, we become blissful, and virtually everything in our life becomes an extension of the love and passion. Anthony Robbins in this case provides great strategies for creating a compelling today, which will be the future tomorrow.

There is soooo much good things in these CD's...I have to listen to it over and over again and still I miss things here and there, he gives you alot to think about in this teaching, these CD's are definently not an overnight fix, ever since I got it I have not been able to stop listening...I listen everywhere I go in my car, his voice also helps relax me, I sugest everyone should get this one.
